One of those many arcade games that reminds me of my tender youth. Sometimes I still play it thanks to an emulator, it's just great. I absolutely love it, and I'll never get tired of it, that's for sure.
Fun fact: this game was actually made by Sanritsu despite being heavily recognized as a Sega game. This is probably one of Sanritsu’s only games that gained any real popularity; the only other game they made that people seem to know is Van-Van Car, which is included on those 60-in-1 boards that are commonly used in lieu of original PCBs to lower maintenance costs and give players freedom of choice without having to install several machines.
Kinda reminds me of the way an ice cream truck sounds. The sound chip they use has very similar technical specs to the AY-3-8910, albeit with one less channel and not being programmable (the song data is built into the chip and cannot be modified)

I only knew the nice C64 conversion named WestBank until I stumbled upon BankPanic on the RetroPie installation I just tried out. Really like to play this on mame now. And after a few rounds of gameplay I can say, wow you'r good Schlauchi, hats off! I'm just wondering why did you let that b. explode at 15:10?
Three buttons and a stick to move left and right. Each button shoots a door. When door opens, if it's a criminal press it's button to shoot before he shoots you. If it's a client DONT SHOOT and let him deposit money. If you shoot a client or let a badguy shoot you, you lose a life. Get at least one deposit on each of the twelve doors and you finish the level. That's it basically. And it's one of the more pure fun games I ever played in my life and to this day one of the main reasons for me to boot MAME. This game is just so simply brilliant and extremely fun to play.
You also ideally wait for the robber to pull his gun. Shooting him before that is an “Unfair” and is worth fewer points. The average of all your Fair reaction times awards a bonus.
I don't think he cheats. He's not using infinite lives or time. And the autoshooter would hit every bad guy at the perfect 0:00 time mark which is not happening here.
There's an animation at a later lever where the blue girl shows her underpants. I had never seen this upon a few minutes ago when I made my Personal Best score of 710,750 points. I don't know the girl using red clothes also do it, I had never seen this before! I came here hoping it was shown on the video, I was got by surprise when I saw it.

Sometimes I cannot reach the door to shut down the bomb. Clients don't let me go.
It's such a frustrating feeling to be stuck with those repeatedly-opening doors as you watch that bomb timer tick down...
@@HayTatsuko I found out that I have to move the stick permanently in one direction and the doors won't open in the meantime.

Why do some of the customers display numbers on their backs as they walk away?
They're telling you that a bandit is at the door with that number.

It's a wanted poster -- it tells the player that a bandit is waiting at the door with that number.
