Been a user of this laptop for a month and hands down one of the best in the market. Let me get this straight. Hindi sya the best malamang. Pero sa price to performance ratio na maibibigay nya. Ito talaga yun eh. Kagaya ng sa case ko. I have a 50k budget. Which means I could have gotten a better laptop na may atleast 144 hz pero same specs lang naman ang makukuha mo kapag nasa 45-50k margin kana. So yung advice ko sainyu is, kapag stationary lang rin naman sya bumili po kayo ng external monitor na may 144 hz at bigger screen size. Kayang kaya ng laptop nato mag dual monitor at normal temp. Sa akin nag lalaro apex/valorant sa external monitor habang nag youyoutube/or atleast 5 google tabs sa laptop monitor nasa maximum 75-80 degrees ang temp. (this is normal sa high load use). kayang kaya. And kapag nasa portable use naman ata hindi nyu naman ma utilize masyado ang 144 hz diba. 60 hz is plenty. If nag woworyy po kayo sa ram usage. Pwde po mag upgrade at mag dagdag ng another 8 gb at the same frequency (3200mhz) para mag 16 gb tsaka dual channel na. Pero kung yung budget natin is hanggang nasa 40k lang which is the srp sa mga mall ng unit nato. Kunin mo na. hahahaha. Masyadong mabilis maubos stocks nito. Ang 144 hz tsaka mga storage mahahanapan palagi ng paraan yan basta iiponan lang. Kapag naka bili na hito po tips: 1. Pag nasa bahay at gagamitin sa heavy use, Please saksak nyu lnag sa charger. Para bumaba ang load na ginagamit ng battery natin. 2. I would recommend bumili kayo ng riser para sa laptop. Kahit wala ng fan. basta tumaas lang yung bottom part nya para mas maganda pasok ng hangin at mababa temp 3. Wag mag overthink masyado, Mga laptop ngayon is mabilis na. Naka ssd nayan. Kahit tumanda po yan. Di po yan babagal kagaya ng mga units natin 5-10 years ago. Rest assured this laptop wello serve you well.

Honestly, if you are spending 38,000 pesos for a gaming laptop, I suggest you look into getting a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3, HP Victus 16, or maybe an Acer Nitro since these are all within that ballpark figure. This Acer laptop has GTX1650 (released in 2019), while those laptops I mentioned have GTX 3050 graphics cards (released early this year).
Those laptops you mentioned are technically more expensive which is above 40k than aspire 7 which is less than 40k. Plus I recommend not to buy the gtx1650, buy the other model rtx 3050 of aspire 7 which is still below 40k
@@rutherford5247 you can get an ideapad gaming 3 for 39k in lazada from Nvidia. Victus was also on sale in Asianic for 46k but it's basically 41k since you get a 5k cashback from hp. Just got to keep an eye out for good deals.

Commonly, mas malakas kumain ng kuryente si Intel compared kay ryzen. also, si ryzen naman performs best if you are plug-in sa kuryente. If hnd naman nakasaksak, average 1-2 hours max or depende sa unit ng laptop (especially the battery) at kung gaano kabigat ung games na nilalaro mo.

I bought the laptop recently around 2 days ago. The performance is really good very worthy of the price. I only have one problem the audio in valorant and the audio from your party is buggy. There are instances that you can hear the audio from the speakers of your laptop there times where you can hear the audio on your earphones but just barely not loud enough to be useful. Im currently finding a fix for this problem if anyone knows anything kindly reply pls. Very much appreciated. Overall the laptop is really good.
It happened to my newly bought acer aspire 7 too. Sadly I haven't found a way on how to fix it. It totally lost the sounds but only voice can be heard.

@@kairuaz I don't play GTA V and Assassin's Creed eh but I do play NBA 2k21. My settings were almost all high and I get a sustained 60fps. Recent NBA 2ks are also triple A titles but I guess GTA V and Assassin's Creed are heavier since mas malaki maps nila. I think 40fps on the lowest possible settings is alr the best that you can do with a 1650. Maybe if you could tweak out some game settings and the GPU, you could get a stable 60 pero hindi kasi ako bihasa sa tweaking so I'mma just leave that to you.

As usual lods Dustin, here are my extra takes in regards to this unit: Pros: *The specs are quite unusual, pero I find it ideal for sleeper gamers for it has a "U" series processor+ it's a 5000 series. Usually we see an H(high-powered) series of processors + these GPUs. Having this combination will lead to stellar battery life and can also play AAA games, but not at high settings of course, this trade is quite worth it. *Even though we see that 2019 thermal design, because of it's U series processor, temps are low (70-mid 80's) *mas tipid sa kuryente *Mas accessible bilhin compared sa ibang units. Cons: *design is quite outdated *ram is single channel + it has a rank16 type of ram which affects performance *not as powerful as the H series processors -These are addons maliban sa takes ni lods Dustin. BTW, Binalik ko na username ko lods Dustin baka po kasi unacceptable sa raffle yung old name ko hehe :)

ang cons lang nakikita ko dito is wala syang "fan control" or yung gaya ng sa nitro, wala syang "Nitro Sense" wala syang extra boost sa fan nya kaya mas mararamdaman mo yung init nya pag nag lalaro ka so mapipilitan ka pang bumili ng cooling pad. at hindi sya naka 144hz aside from that goods na sa price nya

Ask ko lang po if may kabilisan ba talaga magbawas ng battery percentage yung Acer Aspire 7 ROS4? Kakabili ko lang po kasi and napansin ko na mabilis sya magbawas ng batt percentage kahit naka battery saving mode na and nanonood lang naman ako sa youtube ng mga video (480p) and naka earphones din po ako while watching.
basic projects can do with this laptop because of the processor and the video card. I recommend ryzen 7 or i7 with atleast 6 gb of dedicated video card or up to use heavy 3d rendering softwares so it can run up and render smoothly
Purpose po siguro ng usb 2.0 ay para sa mga devices na hindi naman need ng mataas na transmission and power rate katulad ng keyboard or mouse. Kahit kasi na nakastandby yung usb may consumption pa din ng kuryente and data bandwidth.

Update na fix na po turn off ko lang lahat ng enhance sound sa settings. Maganda performance ng laptop sulit na sa 38k.

@@Gokulover67 uncheck some audio settings on the microphone inside sound setting-control panel. Had the same problem and I fixed it.

Thanks for the review. Got the laptop 2 weeks ago. So far so good. Upgraded it to 16gb ram so it runs 160-180fps on valorant low settings.

Pwede ko ba malaman settings ng Nvidia and Valorant mo at nakakaabot ka ng 160-180?

Siguro nakadagdag fps ako kasi 4:3 reso ko. At higit sa lahat, laki deperensiya ng 8gb ram vs 16gb ram. Do note na yung 175fps average eh hindi yan true 175fps. 60hz lang kasi ang aspire 7. Mas maganda parin kabitan external monitor na 144hz para swak na 175fps talaga. Plano ko buy pa niyan when maka ipon.

@@kairuaz I don't play GTA V and Assassin's Creed eh but I do play NBA 2k21. My settings were almost all high and I get a sustained 60fps. Recent NBA 2ks are also triple A titles but I guess GTA V and Assassin's Creed are heavier since mas malaki maps nila. I think 40fps on the lowest possible settings is alr the best that you can do with a 1650. Maybe if you could tweak out some game settings and the GPU, you could get a stable 60 pero hindi kasi ako bihasa sa tweaking so I'mma just leave that to you.

As usual lods Dustin, here are my extra takes in regards to this unit:
Pros:
*The specs are quite unusual, pero I find it ideal for sleeper gamers for it has a "U" series processor+ it's a 5000 series. Usually we see an H(high-powered) series of processors + these GPUs. Having this combination will lead to stellar battery life and can also play AAA games, but not at high settings of course, this trade is quite worth it.
*Even though we see that 2019 thermal design, because of it's U series processor, temps are low (70-mid 80's)

Cons:
*design is quite outdated
*ram is single channel + it has a rank16 type of ram which affects performance
*not as powerful as the H series processors

Sir Dustin not sure kung sa R0S4 wala ah, pero we bought Aspire yesterday meron sha performance control by hitting FN (function) + F nag iiba ung fan speed. Pero sir 3050 na aspire 7 po to.

basic projects can do with this laptop because of the processor and the video card. I recommend ryzen 7 or i7 with atleast 6 gb of dedicated video card or up to use heavy 3d rendering softwares so it can run up and render smoothly
Purpose po siguro ng usb 2.0 ay para sa mga devices na hindi naman need ng mataas na transmission and power rate katulad ng keyboard or mouse. Kahit kasi na nakastandby yung usb may consumption pa din ng kuryente and data bandwidth.
