Bought a last year model of Victus 16. It's a very good laptop in the entry gaming laptop level but the screen is not that good. Also, the build is rather flimsy. Had a problem in where the back cover of the screen pops open even though it was just on standby as I am using it for work.
I'm currently using the HP Victus 16 (Ryzen 5 5600H - RTX 3050ti), and I do have a feeling that this 15inch model feels more like a downgrade compared to last year's 16inch model. My fans are more spread (which is a plus to easily spread out hot air) and this machine has 2NVME SSD slots (to which I'm planning to upgrade my 500GB to 1TB). It's so sad that the latest model has come to this, if it were up to me I'd wait for a Ryzen version of this model (baka sakaling mas mura compared sa Intel model), or just buy the 16inch model :< I love the review, but can you do a comparison for LAST YEAR'S MODEL to THIS YEAR'S MODEL in the next videos? I really love Laptop Factory and would continue to support the channel and business :>
i still have the 16 inch variant, paired with 11400h and 3050ti, the experience is great, I get temps atleast 70-75 degrees celsius for both CPU and GPU which was quite suprising, I also researched that Hp victus 16 doesnt overheat in intel variants. In terms of gaming playing heavy games atleast like hogwarts legacy, cyberpunk, and etc, just need to set everything to high settings but never set it to ultra as it will cause a vram bottleneck since 3050ti has only 4gb vram, it has the same specs with rtx 4050 same CUDA, RT and Tensor cores, but its 6gb vram thats why 3050ti cant perform the same as the 4050 but still a great graphics card for mid range gaming. Ultra game textures in many games eat a lot of vram so setting game graphics at medium to high is already optimal. I am very happy with this laptop since it can run Triple A games at high frame rates but just DONT set the game settings to ULTRA.
