This was a well-made tribute, but it kind of reminds me of how much the anime scene has changed in the last 30 years. There's such an excessive focus on cute middle-school girls these days, and Japan doesn't really care about Western sci-fi, fantasy or comics anymore.

for the reference i think of stuff like " Girl und Panzer " , " Evangelion " for the american part stuff like " Guardian of Galaxie " and " Iron Man " or maybe game like " Mass Effect " they are a lot of stuff that we can found it's just an example, not what you should do.

No thematic connection between the album and the sparkling vampires, so far as I can tell. I refuse to look at those books, so it makes comparison hard.
So this is what Anime has come to...bunch of cute characters making cute faces, doing cute things, in cute outfits. Anime where are you going? Come back...bring back your enthralling storylines, your dynamic animations, your quality of quality. Don't leave the "O.O's." with School Girls, Dramas, bull crap annoyances, and feminine characters concepts of is it a guy or girl....
Considering Gainax is one of the most famous animation studios on the planet, I think you're giving yourself way too much credit there. I personally know like twenty people who know of the original. =P
they should take more reference of the 90's and 2K anime era also from videogames to make this as awesome like the original Daicon IV took Starwars Marvel and DC comics universe, and probably found a new music, but today most of music sucks ^^ !!! and are uninspired, by the way this stuff was probably hard to do with MMD.
