One of the most dramatic scenes in the history of Arrow happens. Then the ending sequence. Eric's Response "Aw fuck." Made me laugh more than I should have lol
I love how Eric and Aaron were holding back the tears but once lance should up they were both Niagara Falls. Gotta love blind wave. And the music at the end was on point
I understood the theory/placement and everything. I was just trying to say they could have came up with a better way for her to go out since she's such a big "comicbook" character. I just don't like the way they wrote her, and her death. Especially because what Felicity just survived.
As someone who had been really critical of Laurel for a long time... this episode broke me. Totally ashamed of how I had looked down my nose at her. It's the kind of feeling you can't shrug off because you didn't appreciate someone while they were around and now they are gone...I cried alone when I watched it the first time, cried again during this reaction video. I just hope we get to see the entire Lance family express their emotions, and not just Team Arrow. The Lances need their time to grieve; it's not just about Oliver.
I was more angry than sad, the show runners sacrificing laurel to their God olicity that no one wants, especially now that they turned felicity into a horrible selfish person this season
Q+A: You think Oliver did some kind of Island voodoo on Laurel to make her seize up and fake die? He's done it before with the bratva to maybe give them an ace in the hole or secret weapon or something? She's probably not perma dead after seeing what some of the other people survived: Slade - Arrow to the eye and drowned: Survived Thea - Stabbed by the Deamons Head and survives a flight to Asia. Felicity - Shot multiple times with machine gun fire and survived. Oliver - Ran through twice with a sword, kicked of a fucking mountain, sits in the snow without a shirt on for days on end, gets some tea, survives. Laurel - Stabbed once, gets immediate medical attention, survives for a short while, dies of seizure.
Felicity gets shot multiple times. ''Only'' gets paralyzed and can walk again 3 episodes later. While Laurel dies from an Arrow to a place on her body with no organ. Oliver got stabbed in a fatal area on his body. Got dropped from a literal mountain. Froze for a while in the snow. He then got healed with some tea and rest.
Seriously screw this show already. First off Felicity practically taking over the show. Screwing up Laurel and Black Canary. And WB and DC movie division handicapping the show runners and taking Deathstroke, Suicide Squad and more from appearing on tv. I'm mean really since they're separate universes, who cares if you have a tv version of said characters.
slsriflecruman87 exactly. If anything it will make them more money and get more people interested in those said characters and get more people watching both the movies and TV shows.
Q&S Anyone else find it kind of dumb that one of Laurels last moments was endorsing Olicity? Felt like they were pandering to the fan girls to be honest.
As sad as this episode was, I found the discussion part of this video hilarious. Thank you for the upload and for filming even though you were so tired, we appreciate it!
Q&A: I think that Laurel said all those things to Oliver as an attempt for him not to lose his humanity. I think that she was afraid that he would go "Dark after Darkh" and I think that they didn't allow Lance to see his daughter before she dies so that he would feel guilty what leads me to my questions. Do you guys think that Lance will become a permanent member of team arrow and he will be the one to defeat Darkh? Do you think that Oliver had already met Andy Diggle on the Island before and didn't tell the team about that and that could be the real reason of him being so suspicious about Andy?
+Blind Wave hi guys , first of all , the kill laurel only cause of the OLICITY thing , Black Canary is the wife of Green Arrow in the cómic , so yeah...
I agree with you Eric, in Laurel's last words writers have her talk about Olicity!!!! Unf**** believable .Disappointing. Pissed. They kill Black Canary the most iconic character in Green Arrow history.
I am super annoyed by Laurel's death (I cried too). I really liked her and I hate how the writers have been treating her lately and I have been enjoyed seeing her as Black Canary. I'm also rooting for Laurel to have faked her death with Oliver's help (WHAT ELSE COULD THEY HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THAT WE DIDN'T HEAR?) and go be a badass on her own and eventually find the Birds of Prey with Barbara Gordon. (Side note: I am an Olicity shipper who really enjoys Laurel. And as much as I love Olicity, Laurel is the freaking Black Canary and she should have had some more focus this season especially leading up to her death and I too think she shouldn't have mentioned them in her last words)
While watching the episode I was mentally preparing myself for it to be Diggle that when it was Laurel I was completely taken aback. I was not prepared for it at all. Tears fell during my viewing... then again watching y'all react. That Quentin scene breaks my heart soooo much.
Captain Lance's punishment for betraying Darhk wasn't only Laurels death but it was also not being able to see Laurel before she died that's pretty much why that was done that way.
As someone who is a fan of the Green Arrow, when Oliver lost his company I was like, "you know, I'll give them a pass, maybe he'll get it back", then, when he didn't become Mayor I was like, "Okay, that's fine, it's always a possibility later", but now they kill Black Canary, who is someone EXTREMELY crucial to who Green Arrow is as a character, and that may have been the tipping point. The writers should be ashamed of themselves at how badly they have gutted the Green Arrow character for the sake of teen drama. I'm going to need some heavy convincing over these last few episodes to make me want to watch next season.
What made the relationship between Sarah and Oliver during season 2 enjoyable was the fact that it wasn't in your face. Oliver and facility.... Yeah not so much. Fuck that ship. Titanic that shit.
I love that you both share different opinions on the whole Felicity situation. It's nice because fans can relate to either one of you. I agree it bothered me that Laurel had to mention Felicity at her death bed just not as much as Eric AHAHAH! I sort of took it as her expressing her happiness for his happiness. Eric, the relationship will be brought up again because now they have to make up or whatever. I honestly just can't wait until they're together again and all this drama is gone between them because I'm tired of it. I loved the beginning of the season when they were supportive of each other. Can they just go back to that already??
Q&A: When the doctor announced, "Time of death: 11:59", the clock on the wall said 11:59 but the second hand wasn't moving. Do you think this is just a prop that the prop dept had stopped at 11:59 for easiness with filming OR is there magic involved (i wanna know what that "promise" was!) to go with your possibly fake-death theory?
Hey Eric! Hey Aaron! You guys are awesome and hilarious. This is my favorite channel on youtube surprisingly. I love that your guys' reactions are never "too much" or "too little" and logical (epsecially with time travel on the Flash). So yea as a fan, i just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to make these videos for us strangers 4:00 You guys sure know how to make a depressed guy laugh. Now time to finish watching
Q&A: I think Laurel is dead...but not "dead" dead. Like, I think this was a big character reset. I think Laurel will maybe be gone for a season or two and then I think she'll be back on Arrow. I think the writers know they handled her origins poorly, and this is like their sort of way to "kinda" kill her off, let some time pass and bring a new dynamic to her. Or maybe she'll do a stint on Legends for a year?!
Oliver lying about her death at this point, after what everyone just went through in their circle of friends, would be unforgivable. It would be the breaking straw.
"And Ollie, I know that I am not the love of your life but you will always be the love of mine." Umm, anyone having flashback to when she said in season 3 "it's hard to remember a time that I was actually in love with you." Wow writers. Wow.
the last thing she said wasn't about Olicity, it was about how she was in love with Oliver since the beginning, and how she was the person everyone assumed he would end up with. so, in a way, her saying she was always in love with him is closing that story thread that some people always thought they'd get back to.
I swear you guys are awesome I love you guys hands down the best reactions and Q&A I've seen other reaction channels some cuss too much others are little high school girls that exaggerate badly others don't even have a heart but you guys are normal cool funny guys I wish I knew you guys in person that would be awesome haha you guys are my kind of friends keep up your amazing work and always stay cool:)
Q&A: What if Laurel asked Oliver to fake her death, and then Oliver did that move that he learned on the island in season 1. The one that stops a persons pulse for like I don't know how many minutes or something just enough for people to think that person is dead.. Just a possibility seeing how important Black Canary is to the Green Arrow universe.
Q&A: Oliver finally tells the team that he's seen Darhk's idol before on Lian Yu, Laurel quips that he doesn't like talking about that place, and then they change the conversation to the bunker's security. Why would Oliver bring that up now, and why did no one demand further explanation? Also, do you think there's any logic behind reassembling the idol and separating one piece as opposed to scattering the pieces or crushing them into powder?
Man I only watched flash and the crossovers 3 times finally got into arrow got here and immeditaly thought of you guys. This was the saddest death in cw for me. I would says all the Harrison wells but this was one laurel and that’s it.
Also, I thought her talking about Oliver and Felicity was kind of some closure from her. Seeing as she was going to die. She was giving Oliver her blessing. Obviously she didn't know she was dying but I saw it as her giving them her blessing, nothing more. Please don't antagonize me! I'm not looking for an argument or to be insulted for my opinion! I am an Olicity fan and you have a right to your opinion as I do mine and i'm sorry Laurel died.
There wore unsaid things between Oliver and Laurel, she needed him to hear these things, it was not about promoting Olicity, it was about Laurel needing Oliver to know that she wants him to be happy that's why Felicity was mentioned. Laurel has not talked abt this before b/c she had moved on but that does not mean that her love for him was gone and she wanted him to know that and that she was no longer bitter or recentfull about the past and that she wished him well. As far as her dad....there was nothing unsaid they had worked thru everything and both knew that they loved each other.
I think it was clever how they have showcased Felicity and Thea as if they will does this series, but they flipped it to laurel who has been kind of quiet this series.
Q&A: I also thought that was too weird that she said the thing about the last promise, but it wouldn't really make sense that Oliver goes to the grave if he would know that she is still alive. So what if the last promise has rather something to do with Darhk?
I wanna Thank you guys. In this world of "Spoiler Alerts" even a year after the show originally aired, no one in my "Real Life" wants to talk about shows like this with me...After finishing Season 4 I decided to look up an Arrow "Vlog" and came across your show. You 2 have great reactions that make me enjoy watching parts of the episodes again and broke into tears along with you 2 in the last few episodes and especially Lorell's passing that made me stop and write this. Keep this up you guys are awesome! Since this video posted months ago you may never read this but, Thank you!
Q&A : Laurel was an important member of the team and she's gonna be missed. My question is: How do you guys think team arrow will react to this? I think John is going to blame him self because he trusted Andy. Ps: i love the rock poem i think it's hilarious! Love you guys and thank you for all your hard work.
Q&A: Given Oliver and others conversations about his darkness etc., do you think the promise is for him to not go back to the way he was and for him to stay like the Green Arrow and not the Arrow?
*It was overall a great but really sad episode and while I enjoyed it, I had my issues as well*. You see, i love Olicity. I love Oliver Queen. I love Felicity. I love Diggle and I adore Thea, and Quentin has grown on me (poor guy) this season. I just love these characters and their stories. So, while I think the Olicity comment that Laurel made was unnecessary, she (just like us) thought she was going to be fine. At first I was annoyed because it wasn't the time, but then I realized that... she too thought she was going to make it. She was going to start over in some way, which is what happens when you've been hurt or close to death. I also expected her death to be more... epic? Heroic? *It felt earned because Laurel Lance's death IS NOT because of Olicity, Team Arrow, or Felicity. Laurel Lance died because her father made a deal with Darhk, who kept his word and killed her*. It is what it is. So people, please, don't blame other characters/insult other fans. Blame Quentin, Damien, Merlyn and maybe even John if you will (I'd never. You monsters), but her death is on Quentin, Merlyn AND Darhk. (It's going to be a long post. Sorry!) I knew we couldn't trust Andy and I'm pissed that John didn't realize he was every bit of a hypocrite that is Oliver when it comes to his family. He didn't want to think of that possibility, so him not doing that was just wrong and stupid. I'm pissed that Quentin didn't get to say goodbye to his daughter. I'm pissed because Merlyn seems to be unkillable in this show. Like, he has to die already. His time is up and as much as I love JB, MM is getting tiring. And I'm disappointed in Damien, who I thought was going to be worse than Ra's. It's not like I dislike him or anything, he's one of those villains who are filled with terrifying humor, which I guess works just fine - somehow. I think Laurel's death is bigger than what we were shown this week, and *I hope she told Oliver a way to kill Damien when she whispered and we didn't get to hear what she said*. And Felicity needs to go back to the team. I know she's probably making tech for physically disabled people (WHICH IS AWESOME) and/or changing PT's in a way that Palmer couldn't, so I expect Smoak Techonologies to be born by the end of the season. - BUT she needs to go back. Team Arrow is just incomplete, and even more so now that Laurel is gone. I also wonder if she, like John, will go apeshit after Laurel's funeral. I don't think she'll become the new BC as people as saying, but I could see her going dark. I mean, in the limo she tells Oliver he has to kill again. That's dark. And I really, really, really, reeeeeeally hope Thea kills Malcolm. She had TWO opportunities in the last episode and while I know she didn't kill him because she doesn't want to kill, they're up in that point. Malcolm needs to disappear. My fear for Thea this season is to find out that she somehow has absorved/inherited DD's magic (or a bit of it; when they had their encounter in the first half of the season) and goes dark during/after the season finale. Girl needs a break. *(This isn't hate, so chill before you come at me)* I wish we had legit receipts or info about it, but Laurel/Katie have felt off to many ever since SDCC. There's people who say there was BTS drama (wouldn't be the first time Katie is that situation) so I don't think they killed off the BC for the character, the other ship or whatever. If I put one+one together, it feels like they were ready to terminate their respective contracts and get it over with. At this point (and again, this isn't hate. I'm just stating what I've seen), I'm over it. She stayed classy up until last night were she started faving tweets that implied the wish for the show's cancellation. That ain't classy. I can imagine she's pissed, but c'mon. Be professional about it.
+Verónica Ramos Yes, absolutely. The writers killed her for a reason, and it wasn't so an already existing relationship could exist. Same as how they killed Sara. Why kill her? They could have both been Canaries, one across the world doing assassin stuff and the other in Star City. Why? Drama. That's why. And yes, lots of drama with KC's behavior on set and off. I think she's also to blame for getting herself written off.
cdboomer Yep. And her attitude towards this is repulsive. There's nothing like having someone's character killed off AND finally getting to see that someone's true colors. I'm done with her. With her, with her attitude and with her interviews shading people she calls FRIENDS AND FAMILY. So done. And yes, that's why BC was killed off, because KC was fired. If the EPs see what she's been doing these days (including thanking someone from Forbes who trashed the show and agreeing in what killed or nor the show), I don't think they'll ever get her back on ARROW. Not like Laurel, not like Black Siren or whatever. If so, she may only appear in the Flash because Kreisberg's wife is her manager and they all are really close.
+Verónica Ramos Sad thing is, I started watching Arrow partly because I liked her, Susanna Thompson, and Paul Blackthorne so much. I loved her Ruby character on Supernatural. It's sad that her behavior has made me think so much less of her.
cdboomer Aw, I'm so sorry to hear that! I binged the first season two days before it finished and while I did it mostly because of the story, I loved her Ruby as well so it was a bonus. And you know, I "ship" Olicity and all that and I never wanted to hate LL, but after the pilot? Oh, man. Couldn't stand her. Someone who wishes death to another person doesn't deserve my respect, less so someone who tells it to someone who has just come back from the dead, so there's that. Terrible writing then. And as for KC, well... I started to see bits of her real self last year (shading, for example, the Olicity sex scene, using SA's birthday message for EBR as a joke between her and her then boyfriend, etc) but this year she took it to a whole new level, and I'm not here for this. I get that she's pissed because she thought she as going to be this *really important* character, but nah. Grow up. Be professional. (I hope we don't get banned for discussing this, though.)
+Verónica Ramos I would hope we wouldn't! I think we're just discussing our POV (which may anger others, but hey, so what?) I was so disappointed in the character, and I think the writers got it wrong from the very beginning in that scene where she wishes him dead and tells him he hasn't suffered enough. Add that in with the icky sister swap, and I cringed every time she looked at Oliver in a romantic way. I lose respect for a character that doesn't have more respect for herself. I think KC could have mitigated some of the poor writing by finding areas where she could add shades of vulnerability to make us root for her, but she always played it so aggressively. As for KC's shade, I've seen that for myself. I love the show, and I watch all the interviews with all the cast. She's had some really cringe-worthy statements. I understand her disappointment because I think she was promised more, but the way she's reacted just makes it harder to get other roles. You don't trash your own show. You just don't. Ah, well. Too late for her to fix it now.
Poor Quinton, he's lost like eight daughters and he only has two.
+Jerek Headrick I hate how accurate that actually sounds. I don't see how he's recovering from this.
GhastlyCloud 775 And then he himself died so then Sara ended up losing her father once and Earth-2!Laurel lost him twice.
@@GhastlCloud775 no one cares about the numbers Einstein
Qwerty dude shut the fuck up he’s making an accurate statement about something he clearly cares about, stop shitting down people’s throats moron!

Hardest episode of Arrow to watch, ever. Loved your reaction guys :)

Why am I replying to this a third time?

Why am I fifth to reply to this
One of the most dramatic scenes in the history of Arrow happens. Then the ending sequence.
Eric's Response "Aw fuck."
Made me laugh more than I should have lol
I love how Eric and Aaron were holding back the tears but once lance should up they were both Niagara Falls. Gotta love blind wave. And the music at the end was on point
The Felicity stuff on her death bed felt like a slap on the face to comic fans of Green Arrow and Black Canary.
+Jason Trickle totally agree! I also don't understand how Felicity can survive rifle shots, but the Black Canary can't survive an arrow wound.
+the Reading Space because the shippers need their so called fix of Olicity stupidity
+the Reading Space Those bullets hurt felicity's spine. That arrow went through canary's chest, probably puncturing her lungs or heart.
I understood the theory/placement and everything. I was just trying to say they could have came up with a better way for her to go out since she's such a big "comicbook" character. I just don't like the way they wrote her, and her death. Especially because what Felicity just survived.
+the Reading Space quickly! get Barry to rewind time! AGAIN!
Laurels ending talking about olicity pissed me off too it was a kick in the face to all black canary fans comics and show.
AAARRROOOOOONNNN
+Irelyn Whalen im a Canary fan and im done with the show they realy piss off and olictiy fans are to blame for it

I know!! AUGH. SO MANY EMOTION.
2 daughters and 3 times... smh
I know, breaks my damn heart.
I mean, they technically gave him a break...ish
I was more angry than sad, the show runners sacrificing laurel to their God olicity that no one wants, especially now that they turned felicity into a horrible selfish person this season
Agree
Man I felt bad for captain lance. He has lost Sarah multiple times and now he loses laurel
I completely agree. Laurel's last words shouldn't be about fucking Oliver & Felicity!
There was no mention of a threesome.
Ha
Aaron broke me. I never want to see Aaron like that again. I started crying because he started crying; real talk.
Lance's reaction to Laurel's death is what had me on the verge of tears: absolutely heartbreaking.

These reactions over this episode says much about just how emotionally invested the audience is in the characters.
Promise me, Ned...
This is a show with time travel and parallel worlds. I bet this isn't the last we've seen of Laurel Lance.
havok6280 hi I’m from the future and ur right

I took your guy's advice and stopped watching the promos for next week's episode. It does make it better. You guys were right.
Honestly most emotional episode of Arrow they ever have, never thought that I'd feel so bad from this show, gotta love it fuck the haters
I don't watch this show! Why am I crying?!?!??!? 😭😭😭
Dunno, maybe because you are a human being and not a robot? Only reason I could find for myself.
I had the exact same reaction as Aaron ahahah, cried at the same time and was so pissed about mini Diggle, awesome reaction guys !
This reaction was so genuine...really made me feel sadder than when I saw the episode the first time...

Oliver lying about her death at this point, after what everyone just went through in their circle of friends, would be unforgivable. It would be the breaking straw.
I've watched a lot of reaction videos about this episode and each one still chokes me up. man
"And Ollie, I know that I am not the love of your life but you will always be the love of mine." Umm, anyone having flashback to when she said in season 3 "it's hard to remember a time that I was actually in love with you." Wow writers. Wow.
When Lance comes round the corner, every single reactor gets even sadder. He wasn't even there to say goodbye
I agree 100% with what Eric said throughout. My thoughts / sentiments exactly.
the last thing she said wasn't about Olicity, it was about how she was in love with Oliver since the beginning, and how she was the person everyone assumed he would end up with. so, in a way, her saying she was always in love with him is closing that story thread that some people always thought they'd get back to.
This is what you call true reaction that's why u guys are the best and feel ya Aaron shit got me emotional too lol
I swear you guys are awesome I love you guys hands down the best reactions and Q&A I've seen other reaction channels some cuss too much others are little high school girls that exaggerate badly others don't even have a heart but you guys are normal cool funny guys I wish I knew you guys in person that would be awesome haha you guys are my kind of friends keep up your amazing work and always stay cool:)
this episode was really amazing and sad at the same time .. I cried a lot
11:20 that part got me good, tears were just flowing non-stop
Q&A: What if Laurel asked Oliver to fake her death, and then Oliver did that move that he learned on the island in season 1. The one that stops a persons pulse for like I don't know how many minutes or something just enough for people to think that person is dead.. Just a possibility seeing how important Black Canary is to the Green Arrow universe.
I agree with Iron Fist guy "Can you like go fucking get my dad or my sister?" WORD!!! So disrespectful to the Black Canary!
Q&A: Oliver finally tells the team that he's seen Darhk's idol before on Lian Yu, Laurel quips that he doesn't like talking about that place, and then they change the conversation to the bunker's security. Why would Oliver bring that up now, and why did no one demand further explanation? Also, do you think there's any logic behind reassembling the idol and separating one piece as opposed to scattering the pieces or crushing them into powder?
that shit made me cry like hell
seriously guys, you both made me cry.....again hahaha i thought i could go through it a second time but i cried again!
Just when you think it can’t get worse lance walks in
Aww, that's the first time I've seen Aaron cry :(
Now 4 seasons later I'm rewatching there reactions is still hard to watch
In hindsight.. the one thing I really loved about this season was how the Magician Malcolm Merlyn just kept popping up at places.
I JUST discovered your channel, really like an hour ago and I already love you guys! Crying again, I'm right with you in this video :D
Damn the episode ended at 11:59 in the video... the exact time of Laurels Death
This was the first Arrow episode in a long time to make me feel feelings. And I did notice halfway through it that we barely had Felicity.
Man I only watched flash and the crossovers 3 times finally got into arrow got here and immeditaly thought of you guys. This was the saddest death in cw for me. I would says all the Harrison wells but this was one laurel and that’s it.
When Laurel was seizing the doctor yelled she was having an embolism. Which is a blood clot.
Quintein acted so good
So are you waiting for confirmation that Laurel is in the grave before you resolve the slap bet? Just sayin.
10:30 , things just got real.... raw emotion. I respect that guys, way to go!
Q&A: Why the Hell did they put the idol back together? Why not keep all the pieces separated and far away?
i am very very late to this show and i just watched this episode last night. i started crying
Q&A- I can't think of a question, I'm too sad.
I think it was clever how they have showcased Felicity and Thea as if they will does this series, but they flipped it to laurel who has been kind of quiet this series.
Yeah, those reactions to Quentin walking in were me. So me. Thanks as always, guys.
"Promise me you won't try to bring me back. I'm sick of that black leather"
Jeez they telegraphed that Laurel's death last episode so hard, knew this was gonna happen. Killed my favorite female DC character...
Aaron: Ah, it looks like it's beginning to rain.
Eric: No, I don't think so.
Aaron: No, it's raining alright.
Definitely one of the best reactions to a death scene.
I'm watching this a second time and I'm still crying
Q&A : Laurel was an important member of the team and she's gonna be missed. My question is: How do you guys think team arrow will react to this? I think John is going to blame him self because he trusted Andy.
Ps: i love the rock poem i think it's hilarious!
Love you guys and thank you for all your hard work.
This was the most real reaction ever on this
Q&A: Given Oliver and others conversations about his darkness etc., do you think the promise is for him to not go back to the way he was and for him to stay like the Green Arrow and not the Arrow?
This episode was sad and your reaction was touching but I can't help but laugh cause Aaron looked like Abu with that hat on lol
that time 11:59 and 20 seconds matters for some reason. they called the time and the camera turned to the clock to specifically show the time
AAARROOONNNNN
+g13iceman it's a minute away from midnight, she didn't live to see tomorow.
Sorry!)
I knew we couldn't trust Andy and I'm pissed that John didn't realize he was every bit of a hypocrite that is Oliver when it comes to his family.
*(This isn't hate, so chill before you come at me)*
I wish we had legit receipts or info about it, but Laurel/Katie have felt off to many ever since SDCC.
Q&A: What do you guys think the hospital did with Laurel's costume? Great reaction keep up the good work!
Great Reaction guys! Keep up the great work.
QNA: What if it is a distraction, what if he did that thing he learned on the island, to make people look dead when they're not?
