Yes I would say best out of the 6. Loved tsk and the one after with the Ozark shoutout. My favorite track though was Japanese Soul Bar Anyone else drop him a HBD message on that line?
@Trilltev To be real you are one of the most underrated TH-camrs. This channel is very organic and genuine you put me on to so much music. Keep being you 🐐!
Trilltev showing his age trying to pronounce jodeci. Thank you for the reaction! This was the last of the run with Hit. So I think he is taking a much deserved break. Given us so many quality projects to hold us over.
NGL I was struggling with Jodeci 😂😂😂. Appreciate you family, didnt know this was the last go around with Hit-Boy. Definitely one hell of a run for them both and im glad Nas was able to make a resurgence.
It is crazy, bang that shit loud it bangs, sometimes when Esco flows left it is fresh like the Blue Bentley track. I love the fact that he put a few chick songs on the magic series. People seem to forget he is man with desires too and wealth and loved across the world, (2 girls same city,, litty 🔥........... ). .....hold on I'm writing this and man is trying to pronounce Jodeci lol...im gone
@@ljc7935 I'm sure there are plenty of words around that you yourself don't know how to pronounce, at least I can be real about it. I'm from Stockton CA, our vocabulary aint that broad out here. LMFAO.
Amazing run! Will there ever be one like it again?! NAS is the best of all time. Above Hov. Above pac. Above anyone new. 🎉 Honestly bro it's either Kobe or Jordan they played it a lot more physical era the game was much different than in LeBron's paddy-cake era
My opinion still stands. I messed with Blue Bentley. Nothing wrong with having fun but when you think of context as a 50 year old wealthy man, why you rapping about CHASING young girls, trying to find this girl on the block etc.
@Trilltev Because she probably was bad n didn'thave the time to meet n talk. Im kinda curious of what she look like lol but, sometimes you gotta switch up the tempo n who knows it might be good to play on the go🙏🙏
I think all 3 of the Magic albums are good.I don't want to compare the Magic albums.I want to compare the Magic albums with the last 3 albums the majority of the other rappers have made in a short window of time like the Magic albums and there is no comparision to the excellent lyrics and beats that Nas and Hitboy are making.
Based on a true story 1 & 2 is the same story. In part 1 he's talking about an unsolved murder, in part 2 he's explaining the murder. That's why he brings back the IG timeline
I get that, I was just trying to figure out who was who. Like was the person that died the one that flew to Spain? or was it his boy that he told to do the deal? or both?
@@ayeshabjordan Not saying you were im js ima be real about it. No shame in not knowing how to pronounce something. Not even my era of music and was never exposed to it 😂.
**" Tsk " , " No Tears " , " Sitting with My thoughts " - GOOSEBUMPS (in other words FLAWLESSLY produced), I rarely get 'em listening to modern rap music ,overall: what an album*
I liked it a lot and I think it’s better than Magic 2 but I can see how these albums being released so soon doesn’t give ppl time to sit with it. This is the finale though so I think they knew to end it at the perfect time
I don't exactly agree but I kinda understand where you are coming from. This album is special though. I definitely wouldn't insinuate that it is a typical Nas + hitboy album. Nas has never made albums that can be honestly reviewed off of first listen. You look young so I am sure you are going to miss some hidden gems. I listened to it 20 times and is still digesting certain lines. I didn't have to do that with magic 1 or 2. This is his most lyrical album in years.
For me there is nothing in particular that is separating this album from KD3, or Magic 1 or 2. Like I said most will misinterpret what I'm saying because I'm not saying it's a bad album I'm just saying after 5 other albums its lost its wow factor FOR ME. And when I give a first listen its always in that perspective, not saying my mind can't change down the line. What are some lyrical examples you can give that you feel really separate this album from the rest?
@@Trilltevi never thought you were saying the album is bad. Your review is basically saying it is good, but typical of what he has been doing lately. I personally think that is not true. It is separated easily by the production. Nas is also more introspective. I understand that he has often alluded to certain things but it is more in depth. Based on a true even 1 and 2 alone seperates this album from the rest. The reason why I say it is more lyrical is because he is saying a lot of clever lines that may come off of as just rapping until broken down. I can't pick one song to use an example becaue he was doing it across the whole album. There wasn't a particular whole verse. There was just a bunch of slick lines scattered throughout.
Production is good this time, better than Magic 2. The composition of the drums and samples is good but i don't like the way everything was mixed and mastered. There's just something about the way those beats sound that rubs me the wrong way. It sounds overly processed if that makes any sense.
For a year thats been mostly mediocre album wise, Magic 3 is still the aoty. Weve got less than a month to go before the calendar flips, so unless Cole or Benny drop their albums, both of which I anticipate being exceptional, no one's jumping ahead of Nas.
Magic 3 grew on me harder than Magic 2. At first I wasn't really feeling it. Now I love it.
Nas is str8 up dope!!! 🐐🔥

Nas really came out swingin' but Hit-Boy's production...i think it's the mixing/mastering on these beats i just can't get down with...

I get what you saying bro. The production was coo IMO. So you wanted the production to sound less artificial sounding.
