Great video. I’m looking at getting the Novritsch Modular Ghillie and am having some trouble picking the pattern. I live and play in northern florida but feel that the Everglade is too much green since ghillie typically have crafting added, is it only really necessary to start with a generally matching base suit? I’m basically looking at the Amber pattern which has a “middle of the road with brown and green” pattern then adapting it with extra crafting. Do you agree or disagree?
It’s prolly too late for me to help but if you haven’t ordered the ghillie during Black Friday then just make sure you don’t get the amber cause many people complaining about the white on it. I have the ACP color and i live in cali and it works very very well in the more dead forests around here but can easily be transformed for a greener environment since the ACP color itself is pretty light. I would probably recommend you to get the Everglade since everytime I visit Florida I always notice how green it is. And then you can buy the kmcs agm summer or winter kit depending on whether the fields you play at are more green or more brown and obviously depending on the season and craft it with that kit. Best of luck man! And if you did end up getting the amber one it’s only been 2 weeks so returning it and getting another color is definitely still an option😂. But if you don’t wanna go thru all that then you can just buy natural colored ink in greens and browns and go thru your suit and ink all the white spots since I’m assuming your not gonna be playing in the snow in Florida. There are many tutorials on how to ink the suit and many recommendations on what ink to use.
Don't you have problems with the novritsch leaves that the quick pins fall off?
Yup, big time. I only ever use cable ties. Where I play, our outdoor environments are heavily brushed and the pins wouldn't ever stand a chance
@@airsoftstini so you buy the 50 leaves and attach them with cable ties? Isn't it better then to just buy the leaves somewhere else? I've got a guy that makes his own leaves and look/feel the same as the Novritsch ones. If you're interested ofc!

I totally disagree and you are lying through your teeth. You can never have enough cable ties and to suggest such a thing is disputable. Lol
Never have enough cable ties? I’m confused/not sure if you’re serious, lol. Many high end pro crafters mention time and time again that the biggest mistake they see amateurs do is absolutely litter every square inch of their suits with crafting material. It’s about creating depth and messy, but calculated macro patterns throughout and then field testing the suit in your environment as that will ultimately tell you whether or not your colours and crafting patterns match.
My first ever summer suit craft was WAY too overdone in material. I shed off probably half of the material, stressed not getting crafters tunnel vision while crafting and my suit blends in 10x better.
