Scared up SOCKS (I live in the Philippines) and a knit cap at a shop near the lake. Great time. Had a great day all by myself due to a squabble with my wife so we took a day apart but still--great time. Got approached by some well-dressed beggars on the street with physical injuries they claimed resulted from the US bombings which--well, all bullshit because I know my history and timelines about US and Vietnam military involvement. I even had one father approach me to have his young son practice his English with me! That was fun.
