I have hunted deer for forty years and used alot of deer calls some worked some didn't i remember way back when i used to use a rubber band believe it or not it would work not all the time but when itdid it did but when you come out with the Extinguisher deer buddy this call beats them all don't stop making them i never go out in the wood with out the Extinguisher deer call Great job Guys.

How well does this work for blacktail?
From what we have experienced and heard from other hunters over the past few years, the Extinguisher works really well for both Blacktail and Mule deer. The strategy and tactics are quite a bit different but the call's versatility allows for use on all deer species. Good luck Taylor!

How do you tie on the black string to the deer call?
the small loop goes around the body of the call in the indent that runs all the way around. When I first bought mine the string was just a little loose and kept slipping off so I had to call and get it replaced. The replacement lanyard they sent fit perfectly and I've had no issues with it.
Hey why does my extinguisher sound so much different?? Yours is deeper and all around better! Is amazon scamming me?
It is possible, Amazon did have a counterfeit seller at one point. You can always send the call to Illusion Systems and they will tune and/or replace the call at no charge. It basically has a lifetime guarantee if it truly is a real Extinguisher deer call. Hope this helps!

Why would I want to call out a fawn?
The fawn bleat is to attract does, does have a motherly instinct to rush to fawns whenever they hear a distressed fawn.
