Today, a video to show you the evolution of motocross games since 1983. Feel free to list the games that have been forgotten and say which one is your favorite.
59 years old now. Motocross Madness 2 was a blast. It had 2-strokes and 4-strokes, (as could be), and you can find cheater engines, just like we built them in real life, (made you crash more usually in the game though), and easily race other people on line. I played from my computer with a big joystick bought at a computer store/section back in those days. I don't remember signing into a club. Just get to the site, pick an open race, or start a new one for others to join. I remember some guy with the name "Hurricane" on a 125 going super fast. I don't know if there were on-line racing series or not, but I would have competed if I found one. Those days are gone. I ride a real MX bike again. :)
MM2 had an awesome track editor, I made several tracks and actually won awards for track building. It was a big online community with Tournaments. I still have an actual Trophy.
You too. It’s by far my fav. I wish they would take that game and build off it for the new consoles. I have it on Xbox and PSP, and PS2. Had to believe it was made that long ago
Hard to beleive that MX Unleashed was from 2004! That game was amazing for its time and had the best soundtrack out of any game that had been released up to that point
THPS wins the soundtrack award, but it was real good. So was the soundtrack for MX vs ATV Unleashed, I put hundreds of hours into that game in college.

Some people say that THPS2 is the greatest skateboarding video game of all time.
In 1998 Motocross Madness was way aheqd of it's time. Ricky Carmichael 99 had the best Soundtrack ever thanks to MTV. And ofcourse in 2006, Motorstorm was the very first game that deserved to be called nextgen game. None of the games in this video ever got us exited like Motorstorm.
Mx vs ATV was always fun. I really went deep into Trials though once Fusion released on PS4. I’ve got a few uploads of Trials, ninjas, diamond times etc.

I raced MX Madness 1 and 2 for days at a time. Best was online racing in mx madness 2. I was king when I finally earned a 2 digit # and lost it less than an hour later. Good times. 👍💯
Great video, a couple that I was missing: stadium cross and motocross go (both arcade), championship motocross 2001 (ps1), supercross 2001 (ps1), and the great supercross circuit (ps1)
17 now, I remember playing mx riders on my dads ps2 having the time of my life. Playing freestyle and jumping over the shark tank, and going on the giant ramp in the fish bowl map
Good video but where is Genesis' "Road Rash"? It is also noted the lack of evolution in the PS4's graphics in relation to the excellent PS3. We see this in the soil, in the details of the clay, much more defined only on PS5
Supercross 2000 was the first MX game i ever played & i played TF outta it.. i still listen to most of the songs from it too, to this day hahahaha that was the game where Mike Metzger & Brian deegan became my favorite riders to. I was always metz & my cuz was always Deegan hahaha
lol it hasn't gotten any better since 2014. Now they're just updating the tracks and riders and adding in a new feature here and there to make us think we're getting something new.

Come a long way since the opening fart sounds lol. I did like motocross maniacs on game boy advance (no fair lol) and excitebike 64.
Forgot to add MX vs ATV Legends, which came out June ‘22 & you just missed Supercross 6, which came out a month after this video was made

Mx madness took it to another level when you could free roam, and it was so realistic back then!
