Helpful tutorial. When I switched to DaVinci Resolved the first thing I looked for was an auto-correct white balance function, I wish I could use the qualifier to select a white or grey area and have the adjustments automatically made. Then have an option to tweak if needed. Thank you for covering how to correct a “normal” clip from DJI OP3.
A really good explanation of the basic steps with Davinci Resolve. My problem is like in the scenes with the lake or the red gates, when these colors are displayed specifically in the scopes. Maybe the principle with HSL should be shown in a separate tutorial. Especially in autumn to work out specific colors.
The way you adjust the white balance is like a blind man touched the elephant's nose to determine what the elephant looks like. More seriously. In the other angle of the lens, when the photo is tone, it is different from the one you judged. Please do not do the manual white balance in this way. Please buy a real Directivity White Balance filter DCC40 for use! Otherwise, you are wasting your skill and time, and the work always has color distortion. Sorry, the manual white balance function of DJI products cannot touch the color tone adjustment. Your approach may be right.
