It's interesting about what we deem as progress now and what we used to define as progress then. The elites definition now is much less defined and much less enlightening than the old definition of progress, where many believed the past ACTUALLY may have been better, than the present before civilization or cities. The current thinking of progress is almost the opposite, where the past was horrible, and at present we are better and the future will be better no matter. It's a very different definition and perhaps a wrong one currently at that.

Nobody greater containment than him, telling us all that any sort of resistance is futile and to not even bother having children. Just vote Tony Blair and accept it. And then he poisons the right wing even further with his boomer truth crap denying the Holocaust happened and claiming Hitler and Stalin were actually great leaders. @thedemographicsclockistick5276 democracy encourages you to play a part in a non political play where you don't have friends or enemies but rather debate and protest, both of which are futile. Setting this drama aside, Spengler says that politics begins when you declare a public enemy and political struggle commences.
This political struggle also occurs in democracy of course, just not in the public displays of voting and conferences and so on. If you are in the UK the recent prime Minister shuffle is the prime example of political action in a democracy.

As Donovan Worland said years ago: "they don't need to win, they just need balkanization"
He also comments frecuently on AA content, sadly most of his old videos are gone from his channel, they were quite on point around 2015.

It's a black pill for an educated zoomer to swallow that he can't become a great man of history because he hasn't suffered. The zoomer still has the preconception of fairness and justice (it's been spoon fed to him in marvel films). The great man of history will know that he himself is the light of civilisation, the source of fairness and justice.

Thank you for doing this interview. I very much appreciated having these ideas recorded in such an accessible and clear way. I have followed Parvini's work for a number of years and I think seeing him share some of his best insights through New Culture Forum marks a distinct shift in what ideas and perspectives can enter the public discussion. Know I will be referencing this video to introduce these ideas in the future.

When the doors of perception are cleansed by hard reality the superficial is seen for what it is. In-group preference runs deeper than political/social fads.

Elitism becomes based when it insinuates itself into being of and for the people. What we have now is elitism unbounded, so much so that it has corrupted any vestige of competency within the social hierarchy, and some countervailing force in the Carlylian or Menckenian fashion is required with the correct elite support.

The universalism that Aa connects to the Faustian spirit. That might be true of Anglo Saxons and french but central Europeans don't exhibit this so much. Certainly not prußianism that Spengler loved so much
