I did not know here Sally, thanks for showcasting and history, nice interior pics and video. I like that antique sofa
The antique sofas were unlike anything i've seen too. Thank you Patrick 🙂
I love hearing about the history of the places you visit. It was also very interesting to see the interior of Casa Loma. Thanks, Sally! 😊
That is my Godfather's home. I was once there, as a newborn only.
Thank you Marg 🙂
That is a very nice mansion! They have the interior very nicely decorated …so upscale and elegant. The wolves by the entrance are a bit creepy. I’ve heard that happening with property being donated to the city by the family. ..there’s a few places here like that too. Great video, thank you! 👍😊🇨🇦
Much appreciated Krystine 🙂
Fascinating historic connection, ornate, opulent property incorporating the small bowling green attempting to pass itself off as a pool table.lol.Great informative video .
Much appreciated 🙂

@onceuponacity, you will be shocked to know, Gus Austin Thompson was my Godfather. He took my father in as a business underling, when my father was 16 ( odd relationship ). My dad, Edward, lived with them for a short time. My dad was the youngest stockbroker in Cdn history (at 19) and went on to be VP of a brokerage firm in Toronto ( in one of the TD buildings when I was a baby ). Gus was the son of Kathleen. His wife JoAnne ( sp ) was not my Godmother ( my Aunt was ). We have a few gifted pieces of furniture from that home. I have the certificate with his name listed as my Godfather. It was a grand house and family. My father was very close with them, my mother was not. He used to return for tea with the old mother, in the early 70s. I realized it was their home when TTT did a video on it, and my Mom saw it. She said, that's Gus' family home 😮
An incredible family history Ginny! Appreciate you sharing here. Thank you 🙂
Really cool to hear of your connection to the family, Ginny!
