Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals was so overlooked and underrated, because Final Fantasy VII came out on Playstation just a year prior. One of the last great RPGs on SNES. 90's sure we're the pinnacle of epic RPGs.
Lufia II came out in 1995, and FF7 came out in 1997, two years later. I think it had more to do with Lufia II being released in the late stages of the SNES life cycle.
@@Soloong_Gaybowzer Well, it's US release was '96 and Europe '97. Do they did release in the West very close together. I misremembered, but there were some SNES games I had hat came out in '98 after PSX came on the scene.
Soloong is right. End stage SNES, close to the release of the N64. When people where already curious about project Dolphin (N64's prerelease codename). Lufia II is extremely underrated and in my book still the best game I ever played. I've played it back so many times after.
I would go so far to say as it was THE most underrated game on the whole SNES. Certainly the most underrated RPG. The music was the best outside of a Squaresoft title. The dungeons were a blast in terms of Zelda puzzles and tactical stunning enemies. The story starts off nothing special standard fantasy RPG, but after you first defeat Gades it just starts hitting you with gut punches rarely seen in a game story then. It's one of the only games of the era I can remember that had a downer bittersweet ending. The tragedy though that Lufia 1 was a MUCH more inferior game, and playing it first totally ruined the ending to Lufia 2. I lucked out playing 2 first, but it must have been a bummer for others who already knew what would happen.
This is definetly my favorite music track of the game... even mayby of all of gaming.... The feelings it has of pure heroics combined with the feeling of a downfall among it. And this is definitely what it would sound like if they had more MB's and better tools to make it!
Fantastic work! I am just finding the channel now but anyone who does a Lufia cover deserves a sub. I would love to hear anything else from Lufia 1 or 2 or legend of legaia if possible!
Don't know this but I've heard of the game. May not be my style, but this was just super enjoying to listen to!! Those guitar licks u pull off are great in this one! Loving the tone here and that acoustic/keyboard section is superb! (Acoustic stuff with you is always nice bro) Really good work here man!
oh my god o: thank you very much for this cover! I really love the lufia 1 and II ost and this is by far my favorite track of the game, it is such a nice final music for the last (and in lufia 1 for the first xD) Dungeon :D! the refrain is rocking and emotional at the same time, but i also like 1:16 spanish guitar part ;) and you gave this tune really a great new feeling with your rock instruments, at this moment Gab this is my favorite cover from you =) thank you very much Dude!
Videogame music just isn't the same anymore. Every song I have ever hummed to myself has always been from an 90's RPG. This, and the Overworld music from FF6 are the main culprits.
Great job! I slightly prefer how it sounds in the first Lufia game, but same deal really lol. I always thought it was an incredibly epic song that has that "end of journey" feel.
Really nicely done... But based on the approximate age you appear to have been....how did you even know this existed to want to cover it in the first place? Haha
Thanks hahaha! This game came out a year before I was born so of course I didn't know about it at the time. This song was requested to me on my Patreon page! Also I have a great interest in older games so I know about a lot of retro RPGs. :')

oui :) peu tu faire Final Fantasy Mystic Quest: Doom Castle
ou atelier iris 2 red lucifer s'il te plait? great job !
This was one of the best final dungeon songs of the SNES era. So sad this game is a little known cult classic.

Great cover. Very few people cover Lufia II. Legit.
Soy de Chile, Lufia es mi saga favorita de la SNES. ¡Muchas gracias!
idem jaja
Epic nostalgic final battle theme.
This isnt a battle theme. This plays only once in the entire game when you destroy the crystals on the flying fortress. Really epic nonetheless.
Thats how I remember the music playing the game in 1996. Daos never had a chance with that blood pumping theme
It's not a boss battle theme. This particular song only plays on the sky fortress when the hero sacrifices himself to destroy the engine crystals.
@@Zwiebel4 thats For the Savior man. this song plays before the crystals, in the fortress of doom where you're fighting the sinistrals themselves
@@TsukiStuffs Yeah I switched them up. Yet this particular song plays in the fortress itself, not the actual battle.
Right in the feels.
Wow. If the soundtrack is anything like this cover, I seriously need to check it out. That was amazing, man
Lufia 2 is one of the best SNES J-RPGs, and yes the music is great, esp the boss theme.
Thanks a lot dude!! :D Glad you enjoyed it, that game's OST is so good!
So how did you like the game?
The Lufia games have some really great music~ was pumped when I saw that you did a cover :D
I'm glad you liked it, man! :D
This series is at the top of my list for a remaster, sadly I doubt it’ll ever happen
it did 3DS they fucked it up made it hack an slash but made tia stay in the party an not leave
Remaster could never be as good, but I've been hoping for too long to see Dekar appear in smash brothers 😂
"There's still hope as long as Dual Blade keeps its light."
Sir Decka is a big fan

Never played Lufia, but this sounds really cool!
Gotta check out that OST.
Dinnick the 3rd check out the fucking game!!!!! Lufia II is the better of the two

Awe dude this rocked so hard! This had me headbanging all the way through!

Awesome job, and seriously thanks for covering from this game, which has some awesome music that I'm sure gets a lot less attention.
I'm really glad you liked it! Thanks! :D
Very nice, this should have more views!
MAN! Every hair on my body goes crazy!!! what a cover!!!! man you are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!! :D
Very good cover of a very good RPG ! Like it, congratulation gab !
Man would I love to hear another cover of yours from this game! I wish I could support you on patron just to guarantee another cover or two

What are you, 15?
Just surprised you knew such a banger. Great work! :D
27… 🥲 (not at the time of this recording, but still)
This is excellent.

Legend!
Well here is another new favorite
Sounds great!
Very very good boy
EPIC

Wow, this sounds very different from all the Kirkhope pieces! Very epic, dramatic cover -- well done!
Thanks a lot man! :D
super rad!
Forgot how much I liked this....Hmmm it sometimes gives me goosebumps lol
Hell yes.
You should do Secret of Mana! You are very good!!
Best OST on the SNES top to bottom, and that's saying something.
What an incredible rendition of an amazing song from an absolutely epic game. How old were you when you did this?
Thanks! I think I was 20 when I recorded this.
@@gabocarina96 I hope you are still finding joy in making music. Cheers.
Beyond epic...
The lufia verigood gabocarina96😄😄👍👍👍👍💪💪💪💪

I remember playing Lufia
Holy fucking shit that's amazing I wish I could donate
Thanks! ^^
I use Erim/Iris as my persona in King of Avalon right now... the other team stands no chance.
lol wow.
This track is amazing.
Who disliked this?
Damn, this is so good, but the last 20 seconds are a different song so I can't add it to my playlist. I wish musicians didn't do that shit.
this is a lufia 1 song. not a lufia 2 song.. gosh I wish the first game got the credit it deserves... lufia 2 simply re-used it.
Is the lufia 2 version lmao
