Hey Kad, always love seeing a new vid drop from ya man! You really helped me improve my 3x3 with your tips videos. Big cubes have helped! Cheers brother.
Ha! I also thought that it does feel like a Premium Guhong version! Yes it is not such a blocky cube as described - if you set it at 1/2 it's perfect. Phil from Cubicle uses FZ Calm + Dignitas and I find FZ Calm to make the cube VERY catchy (which was one of his main comments that more or less killed the cube). I am using Weight 5 on the tracks and Dignitas on the pieces and I LOVE IT - no catching no nothing!
tip for the hollow feeling, take a magic eraser (the super light sponge like things) cut em up using a razer blade in the shape of the inside of the corners and edges then put em in the edges, reduces clacky noise a little and makes the cube feel fuller
I got mine today and out of the box it is really fast (even for me, and I main a Gan 12 with Lunar in it). After tightening the cube some, I noticed that a lot of the tighter settings are too tight, so I went backwards all the way to 2, and then slowed it down using some fz calm (I don't really have a better lube for it...) and that made it slow down enough to be controllable. Besides it being a little too fast for me right away, the cube is really good and I'm liking it quite a lot. I will say that I seem to plus 2 on it a lot more than my Gan 12, however that may just be a skill issue. Edit: I got the spring version of the cube, so I think the maglev is probably way too fast.
Hi, i’m thinking in buy the cube, do you think is it better than the GAN 12 MagLev UV or The GAN 13 MagLev UV? Because i have enough money for buy one of them, and i really really thank you if you tell me what cube if better. Thanks for reading.
@@papuholo9924 I've never used the 13, but from what I've heard most people like the 12 more. I do know the 12 (from my experience) does catch some on tighter settings, but the 13 is too fast for most that tried using it long term. You'll see this is almost all of Gan's sponsors too. They almost all use the 12, besides all of the children that are using the 14 because they turn ridiculously fast. (I have used the 14 and it's scary how often that thing pops; can't recommend that one) Also, if you're new to the hobby, you don't need the absolute best cube to get good. You can always start with something cheaper and try and find out what you like too 👍
@@papuholo9924 If you want something tight, stable, but still fast, probably the V10, but if you want something really flexible I'd say the Gan 12. Personally I'm liking the V10 more after doing about 400 solves with it today, and it's a lot cheaper, so that's what I'll recommend. I, however, DON'T know if there are any long term issues with the cube since I've had it for a day, so I would ask some other people for their opinions as well.
Also one more thing I tried both the v10 and the gan 12 and I am deciding which one to get According to you which cube would work better under great pressure and has really smooth corner cutting on small cuts
Ive been using the weilong v10 with maglev for like a month, the only problem i seen is one side of the maglev us thicker than the other, the thinner magnet is like the other maglevs, like the rs3m, and when i clean my cube one magnet hit with the other and the thinner one brokes, the thicker dont. Sorry for my english btw 😅. I dont know if you have that problem too.
I tried them both. Depends if you turn lightly of aggressively. With v10 you cant really turn too fast because of lockups but it is a great cube besides that. v9 is more "manual" and you need to turn the cube yourself. Hope it helps
Brother could you please do a comparison video between RS3MV5(dual adjustment )and WRM V10(standard version)....I want to buy a new cube! So, brother if you make a video about it,it will be easier for me to choose which one should I buy.....
Ufff bro, very good and concise review, I have a small question, I am thinking between the Weilong V10 or the GAN 12 MagLev UV (the price is not something that matters, I have the money to buy either of the two) I would like you to give me your honest opinion of which of the Two is better, I am very interested in your opinion. Excellent video, new sub.
@@papuholo9924 that question, I think comes down to preference! The gan 12 maglev UV is a great cube, but I think the Weilong v10 is better for my turning style. I would say, if you like more elastic feeling cubes and more compact cubes, maybe the Weilong v10 would be better. If you like a less compact feeling, and like the GAN feel overall, the Gan 12 would be better. I do also think the GAN 12 is more premium, and I feel like most people might be happier with that cube. But for me personally, I like the Weilong v10 more
