Specs and features wise, kwits sila ng MG5. They both have luxurious design both interior and exterior, kaso walang Apple Carplay and Android Auto ang Emgrand na meron sa MG5 kahit sa Core MT which is the lowest variant priced at 658k. Useful ang ACP/AA specially for YTs and Google Maps(waiting pa ako sa Netflix hack though.) Also, power wise, kwits ang MG5 at Honda City. 112HP/150NM ang MG5(118HP/145NM ang City) compared to 102HP/145NM ng Emgrand which is for me, bitin para sa 1.5L.
This is better than Toyota Vios in all departments. With huge discounts it's gonna be Volume seller for the Geely brand. It's good match against the Nissan Almera, MG 5 sedan and VW Santana.

So far.. emgrand beats them all.. try mo test drive.. you will really feel isolated sa road. It's a luxurious feeling for something not that expensive.. also, emgrand detects if you're sleepy and will vibrate the steering wheel.. if that helps. Hahaha. Also.. the interior of the emgrand beats altis in every aspect. Also, emgrand has auto start and auto windows open/close.. so if I parked the car for long I usually auto start it using the remote and auto open windows.. after 30 second auto close the windows and wait for a minute before going to the car.. trust me.. the feeling of not experiencing heat despite the car under the heat of the sun is superb.

Owner here. Regular family use 13km kami sa city. With 2x a month kami nag road trip. 2x kami a month full tank. Di na kami nag per liter calculations kasi iba iba situations ng drive. Bale 5family member regular school usage 3km layo.
