This game took the original Chase HQ arcade and cranked everything up to eleven! Blasting your opponents off the road never got old! The nostalgia is in overload right now!
This game deserves a ps5 remake. The concept is cool and lethal weapon aspect to it is cool. Great game. Great memories playing this in Beverley holiday park in Devon. The gears high and low, had the gun built in to it so you could play on your own or 2 op one person drives the other shoots
2:36 (Stage 1) "Stop talking nonsense! I know nothing! It's Bob, the boss! She isn't the one guys are looking for! Bob... I know nothing!" 4:57 (Stage 2) "Buddy, you did it again! I ain't Bob! This little girl ain't the one either! I guess Bob is around the mountain you dummy." 7:05 (Stage 3) "I want my attorney! I ain't gonna sayin' nothing 'til he comes! Call my lawyer! The boss doesn't say nothin' until he comes!" 9:35 (Stage 4) "(slow evil laugh) Do you know that this is the end of H.Q.? Yeah, Bob works for me, and I work for Mr. Raymond. Tony Raymond. The next mayor. He's gonna put y'all out of the business." 11:09 (Stage 5) "Yeah, it's me. Listen, mayor! Listen, good! Your little girl is hugged in a time bomb in the warehouse somewhere in the suburbs! You got only 30 seconds left! Ha ha ha!" 12:08 (Ending) Daughter: "Daddy!" Mayor: "Oh Jennifer! Are you alright, baby?" EDIT: Subs re-verified with the Master System port's script, except the stage 1 criminal says "rubbish" instead of "nonsense" in that port.
I was 7 when I first saw this game. I asked my mom to let me play it because I wanted a Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo so much. She wouldn't let me. Years later I played the ROM, but it would never be the same.
Is that fellow on the "Press Start" screen gonna be okay? He looks a little bit confused, or maybe happy hour started for him too soon... Joking aside, this looks really fun to play!
English dialogues/voices on SCI is prefer and accurate like a western-made game unlike Japanese dialogues/voices version, still had a anime-like voice in enitre cutscene. Somewhat SCI is not a direct sequel to Chase HQ (noteworthy: Chase HQ 2 (2007) is a long-awaiting sequel to Chase HQ, but it's a modern with full 3D that should have been longplay), but goes to side story about the mayor was trapped before the building explode to save them.
Was able to make it through Stage 5 without continue but then the last one where you have to get back to the base quickly is pretty brutal as if Taito threw the last ditch to make players lose the game. The road is tight and you only have one nitro to use.
Yes - some home ports included Chase H.Q. II in the title, but the original arcade release doesn't. Taito did release an official Chase H.Q. in the mid-2000s, although this was full 3D.
Karen is the dispatcher this time? Nancy must've been on vacation. (Even police officers need a vacation once in a while.) Whatever is the case, mission accomplished!
I was looking for this game for decades i forgot the name but finally found it
Just found it now . I used to play this in the early 90s arcades . Nostalgia is wild right now .
Didn’t the arcade steering wheel rumble when shooting?
@@leigh6417 i think it is also the smell of pot at the arcade brings me memories
Same here.
I always confuse him with Chase HQ 😊
This is the best era of video gaming. What incredible classics these arcade games are. Timeless, fun, and replayability that never gets old.

This is the Chase HQ sequel!
@@sharptoothtrex4486 Um, I know that. That's why I said it took the original game and cranked everything up, making the sequel even better.
Special Criminal investigation is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and AWESOMELY AMAZING
Best way to save a girl, shoot the car with a bazooka until it blows in fire and pandemonium: Taito knew what to do.
that's how you got things done in the 80s lol
6:12 Well, that family's vacation came to an abrupt halt.
"Roll em up"
OH NO. Anyway...
Does that mean they're not coming on then?
"The car with the girl is in our sights! Rescue the girl!"
*proceeds to toss you a grenade launcher*
This game is nuts lol
懐かしい!タイトーチェイスHQ見たいです。
The dialogue samples in this game are impressive for the time.
This game is madness!!! How in the hell can you get into a face to face gunfight with a helicopter when driving at 180mph????
That is impossible to explain!
It's actually physically impossible. Helicopters aren't capable of flying any faster than 160. It's literally physics. Unless it's jet propulsion. Regular blade copters can't.
In a tunnel.
Karen the dispatcher must be Nancy's twin sister

Dear Taito,
As much as I loved this game and Chase H.Q. back in the days, Please consider releasing this game for the Nintendo Switch.

I guess they put a Chevy starter in the 300ZX.
I would pay money for those "Guh-RATE!", "PLEEEASE!" and "OH NO!" sound clips.
They are funny, but the voice overs in the original Chase HQ were a lot cooler :)
I was 7 when I first saw this game. I asked my mom to let me play it because I wanted a Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo so much. She wouldn't let me. Years later I played the ROM, but it would never be the same.
Bob, I know nothin’!
This game looks great!
This is badass! Taito has some of the more creative arcade games, like Riding Fight as well.
What a great super scaler game!
Could you do "Outrunners" and "Super Chase: Criminal Termination" as well?
Wow Amazing, for it's time, they pushed the envelope on this game A+++++
1989
@@fargeeks amazing!!! I was born in 1984 I was too young to remember such a great time in gaming
@@techbit7607 yup amazing big time, how many games can you think of that has voices in it from the 80s?
Spectacular game
El mejor juego de todos los tiempos
Hoy ala noche a jugar ala Pandora
Ansiaba jugar a esto pero no me acordaba del título
Muchas muchas gracias
Love that twin turbo Z. T-tops forever, baby.
This was allways the loudest game in the arcade....this or tmnt.
I've got a photo of me standing next to this arcade game. Late 80's
Haha I've got a photo of me playing it in the arcade, only just found which game it was after much searching 😁
Is that fellow on the "Press Start" screen gonna be okay? He looks a little bit confused, or maybe happy hour started for him too soon...
Joking aside, this looks really fun to play!
The voice for "Karen, roger" sounds amazingly like Michael Prichard, audiobook actor.
as an arcade player you have to able kill targets while drive 180mph speed
ZUNTATA's music is good!!
This sequel of Chase H.Q. is considerably harder.
In the last stage, use nitro when there's no obstacles.
I wish they remake these games.

What is the guy saying over and over again while shooting. Sounds like "rig" to me. Anyone else know?
that's a nice Nissan 300ZX
Where's Johnny Tightlips when you need him!
Was able to make it through Stage 5 without continue but then the last one where you have to get back to the base quickly is pretty brutal as if Taito threw the last ditch to make players lose the game. The road is tight and you only have one nitro to use.
素晴らしい
The car seems to struggle to start!
The voice acting lol 😂
Awesome 👍
Good racing.
I wish that this game was there in a realistic 3d version
This game you can both shoot and ram the target in same time
Outrun meets Roadblasters
Rally-tastic!
Cool game!
Anybody managed to get this game running in any Anbernic retro console??
9:33
Ironic, isn't it?
There's Tony and Raymond (the riders), and then there's Tony Raymond - the corrupt mayoral candidate.
i have this game on my retrocade console i can never beat the lorry and the helicopter without running out of time
was there a version with 3D glasses?
sur quel émulateur ?
This game has a voice of digitized voice work, not bad at all, fun looking game too, never had it at my local arcades (that I recall)
They have to downgrade the voice for the third game.
But the voicework for this game is amazing
It wasn't even 1991 yet...
@@meyers0781 I dunno if it was needed, that’s too bad they had to
Looks Like Súper Famicom

12:09 Oh Jennifer! Are you right baby?
Is it just me or does the first suspect sound like Richard Ayoade?
Karen, Roger!
Gotcha, baby!
FFB ARCADE PLUG IN doesn't have force feedback for this game
This looks like a sequel to Chase HQ. Is it?
It is a sequel to Chase HQ

Karen? What happened to Nancy? :(
isnt ripping off outrun and Chase HQ?
It's Chase HQ II
This game was so noisy in the arcade!
Yet another arcade that used sprite scaling.
How many home 16-bit gaming machines had sprite scaling? none.
