Bengaluru was first city in Asia to get electricity in 1904 and even before independence we had IISc, State Bank of Mysuru, Mysuru sandal soap factory, Mysuru electrical industries,Kolar gold fields, Bhadravathi iron and steel company and after independence we got HMT, HAL, ISRO. Kannadiga Narayana Murthy founded Infosys and made this place worth for IT investment. U came here because u saw there was an opportunity here, u entered, invested and made profit but why didn't u go to UP, Bihar, Jharkhand or Chattisgarh because u won't trust either people or govt there right? Just becoz we were able to elect stable govt who works to build this city u was able to come here remember that. Even now feel free to take ur investments to Bimaru states we will be really happy. Dear All. I am a Malayali, on behalf of useless communist I would to take this opportunity to say sorry to all of you, he is saying Bangalore is not built by Kannadigas alone. But the seed was paved by kannadiga and it flourished. The contribution of Kannataka in India’s growth stands in the forefront. While these communists were oppositions computerisation and IT creating strikes and Harthal, Karnataka’s visions leaders paved way for growth and development. This guy is now talking about constitution. Being a Malayali and a IT professional I have always thought why the
kannadiga numbers are less in most of the companies. The best solution would be to decentralise development out of Bangalore and spread it across states. People from other states find it easy to relocate to Bangalore for various reasons. Bangalore is a beautiful place and nobody wants to leave it. I would like to thank all Kannadigas for giving such a a beautiful place and opportunity for fellow Indians. I am proud of you.
I work in an IT with my company having office in Mumbai and Bangalore and have outrighly rejected Bangalore over Mumbai… l have outrightly rejected Bangalore, Pune , Gurgaon despite being offered better package as Mumbai is the safest place for IT professionals who at times required to work late hours. So come out of delusion no city is better than Bangalore… there are many who have shifted or will shift if cities like UP , Bihar has job opportunities for IT professionals in their own state

With the population reaching 1.5 crores, we are now facing a water crisis, and it has become unaffordable for many to live in a single state. I am an owner of a firm with one of the branches in Bangalore. I would never encourage such reservations as it will lead us hiring lesser skilled employees.
Tech parks cannot encroach lakes. It was encroached by politicians, govt officials and builders. The first 2 are local people in all cases, and the 3rd one too in many instances.
So stop blaming others for BLRs misery.
It's because if laws are made and enacted, these non-Kannadigas will have to go to other states or to their home state where they may not get the benefits they enjoyed till date in Karnataka. Simple! 😊

The same constotution provides rights to all Indians to practise their profession in any part of India. There is already a big percentage of reservation in government sector. If you try dictating your rules to private sector then these companies will surely move out. Bangalore flourished because the ecosystem supported the growth of IT sector. But decisions like this will have destructive implications on the the state's economy which is already declining.
