Laughlin Casino Parking Lots Flood

The parking lot at the Aquarius Casino and other parking lots received a lot of rain run off.

I was there the day after. The amount of dirt and mud on Casino Dr was incredible.

I was parked in the Aquarius garage with my Prius. I definitely chilled out until the water had gone all the way down before leaving the garage.

Last time in Laughlin it was bone dry. 86 or so. The only casinos were Sam's Town, the Edgewater, someplace else, then the Ramada?

I got off work at 4 but didn't get to that part for 20 minutes after you. The water was mostly gone by then but the 3 to 4 inches of mud was left. Cars were getting stuck in it.

Engineers: Drains? It's the desert! It never rains much here. We can save a lot of money by not putting in drains in the roads. Plus, we're only a couple feet above river level - If it ever does rain, which it won't, the water would just run downhill into the river anyway. It'd be foolish to spend money on drains.
