I got off work at 4 but didn't get to that part for 20 minutes after you. The water was mostly gone by then but the 3 to 4 inches of mud was left. Cars were getting stuck in it.
Engineers: Drains? It's the desert! It never rains much here. We can save a lot of money by not putting in drains in the roads. Plus, we're only a couple feet above river level - If it ever does rain, which it won't, the water would just run downhill into the river anyway. It'd be foolish to spend money on drains.
Have been there many years off and on but NEVER. Seen anything like that! Thanks for sharing. Stay safe
I was there the day after. The amount of dirt and mud on Casino Dr was incredible.
I was parked in the Aquarius garage with my Prius. I definitely chilled out until the water had gone all the way down before leaving the garage.
Last time in Laughlin it was bone dry. 86 or so. The only casinos were Sam's Town, the Edgewater, someplace else, then the Ramada?

Thanks for your response Jerry. The water levels looked much higher to the south of where we were.

Very good city engineers gave approval for this project. Looks like you are driving through the river.
Yes, it was a big rain for that area.
I didn't see Laughlin. You heading is diseptive
If you're talking about when I was driving through the rain, that was Casino Drive downtown Laughlin Nevada. Sorry if you got confused.
Thanks for the explanation
That's worse than over the hill

God is washing your sins away
Seems you need to repent for you judging others.
