A playoff team is not a superbowl team. Purdy has an ability to read the defence unlike any other. And when you look at the stats Purdy has the highest Completion %, the highest TD %, and while he isnt leading in yards, hes not far behind. Especially when you look at his yards per pass attempts. The Cowboys and Texans have such high passing yards because they have a 1 dimensional offence. Its why Dak has the most TD's. They cant run as efficiently. The niners have the most balanced team in the NFL. Also, Purdy's picks when you really look at those plays. Half of his picks were tipped balls by his own recievers. The other half its hard to tell why, if they were juet bad throws, or if it was due to his concussions is up for debate. But i dont think he should be below Dak. And if you wanna argue about wepons, take away Kelce and how effective would PM be? Take away AJ Brown, and that O-Line and what would Hurts be. Take away Hill and what is Tua. The only person on this list that doesnt have that one guy is Stroud, which is why i think his case is so good. But i dont think they are going to give a Rookie MVP. As much as i would like to see that happen. (Texans are my AFC team, absolutely love them now with Ryans at HC as a native texan) I think this race comes down to Hill and Purdy, but if Cup was in a distant third when he won the Triple Crown. I dont know how much hope Hill has.
