you are a life saver. Thanks a million. don't be lured into rooting pixel guys, you are so much better without it. luckily I had my bootloader unlocked.
6:22 I use to manually flash each months update, and instead of copying all the files into the ADB/fastboot executable folder, I simply changed my dos PATH variable to include that path in my path and placed the image files in their own path. PATH=%PATH%;"%SYSTEMROOT%\System32";"C:\Java\x86\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools";
that is a GREAT tip! it's something I have set up as well but rarely recommend it since not everyone wants to make system-wide changes like this. but it can REALLY help make things so much more convenient
@@ExplainingAndroid its not "system wide" its is only valid within the command shell window you run it in. Open a new command window, and it will be the standard PATH
Thank you. At 6:02 you mentioned that there's a bunch of files and one folder - mine did not have that folder, and I'm guessing it's a folder you ended up with after extracting the zip file with the same name. I was pretty sure it wouldn't be necessary to extract that zip file so I just skipped that and everything seemed to work without an issue.
Thanks for this helpful video. Yeah, I was also getting this endless loading G loop after only having the phone for four months and had no interest in either waiting to send this back or go to the local store to get someone else to get my phone working. I am leaving the country in a few days and have no time for that... I opted for the data wipe and reset since only 4 months ago I copied all the data from the last phone - so redownloading all those photos, numbers etc, from the old phone again only loses me a little bit as opposed to actually starting from square one. Thanks again for your help!

I have a Pixel 4a which is bootlooping, after a factory reset it now loops to the Welcome screen with the Next and emergency calls option but you are not able to select anything, after a minute it then goes off and loops back to the same part. I cannot get into the phone to go to settings and enable to bootloader options? is there another way?

I haven't flashed a system img or rooted or unlocked bootloader or anything like that since I had the one plus 3t.....I bought a second hand pixel 4xl. Reset 3 times. Reverted from beta 12 3 times. Each time I tried was to hope to fix my issue. My phone will reboot on occasion and will reboot itself 2 or 3 times. Usually crashes when I open camera and or go into settings and hit face unlock. After reset it runs a month or so fine then it starts again and I have to reset. I am wondering if the issue is the partitions and if I hard flashed the system img boot img and all of that might fix my issues. I've heard it could be the battery showing symptoms of fault. I doubt it because the battery seems to have good life. Unless it's a flex wire or connection ...possibly heat as usually happens when it's hot and I use camera. But I cannot know for sure. The face unlock I wound up turning off as it was causing most of the issues. But still get reboots on occasion.
OH MY GOSH it worked thank you so much. i had to rewatch this a couple of times to get everyhting down right but once it was done my pixel restarted and i can now use it. im not going to try bootloading again
that happened to me when i flashed the wrong twrp i felt all freaked out that i wasted 350 dollars, then i did the android flash tool method and i saved my pixel 4a and kept my warranty.
the android flash tool is great for these types of issues. happy to see you found the solution to fix your phone. how are you enjoying the phone so far
@@ExplainingAndroid great i am on lineage os 18 right now. i downgraded from android 12. didn't care for 12 as theres no custom roms for pixel 4a yet with android 12.

Its at 0%, do you think this steps will resolve this issue ? The phone never fall, no have stuff inside the charging area. The phone is like 1 and a half month new. I'm disappointed already by the phone :(
ill need more of the text around the failed message to be able to help. at which file did it fail at. what was the response/message when it tried to flash whichever file it failed on. need more information
You can try. But Google is known for adding in "rollback" aka "downgrade" protections to prevent it (for security reasons) It won't mess up the phone if your attempt fails though. You'll just get an 'anti-rollback' error message when it fails. You'll be able to reboot into your Android OS as normal afterwards

Do you know how to load android when it states "Can't find valid operating system"
you could try doing a factory reset in Recovery mode

It's hardware problem. Either faulty battery or a loose flex or water damage
sometimes. but many software issues can cause a bootloop and this video will show how to fix it if it's a software related issue
Where could i get that wallpaper at the end of the video?
it's default with the Pixel 4a - www.xda-developers.com/download-google-pixel-4a-eclipse-live-wallpaper/
