- It's been absurdly hot the past few weeks, so I've been chucking on a band tee more than usual. I thought showcase how I style them and plus, I think it's a cool way to show give you more of an insight of what my musical taste is.

Is it THAT bad if someone wears a band t shirt and they don't listen to the band? What if they think the music is good and admire the artists but just wouldn't listen to them on a daily basis... they just liked the logo, why is it that bad?
Any advice to us plus size girls who can't be tucking our band tees into high waisted anything? We want to be fashionable and look good without it seeming like we're wearing a tshirt just because we can't find anything else that fits us.

I love the ratt outfit so much! and I do that too, I can imagine I would be so embarrassed if i didn't know anything about a band when I was advertising them on me!

it's 95 degrees outside but you'll wear a cardigan to class? O_o the weather goes up and down like crazy here. last week it was freezing, and this week it's been in the 70s. if it's warmer than 69 degrees, i dont wear long sleeves or closed toed shoes... but then again i dont really dress cute for class at all. i'd like to, but i don't have the wardrobe/money... so until then, back to the fashion porn!
I love how Korean people say buttons! I assume Korean was your first language. I really don't want to come off wrong, but I am genuinely curious about this. What about the word button makes the pronunciation have an emphasis on the "T" cause people who know English as a first language say button with a muted "T". Just curious..

You have the exact style that I want!!!!! Ugghhhhh but I have no money :/ it sucks because urban outfitters is so expensive and high waisted shorts are always expensive anywhere. :/ it makes me so sad because in so passionate about clothing but you can't burly clothes without money.

Love the band choices and how you style them! And it's a sort of weird compliment, but I love that you still wear jewelery when it's gotten kind of worn. I feel like I'm the only one who does that!

I seriously love that you said that you only wear band tees of bands you listen to, it makes me so mad when i see someone wearing a shirt like Sublime or something and have no clue what their music sounds like...
for an example: I was at school and I saw this girl had on a Bob Marley t-shirt so I asked her what her favorite song was and she got mad at me and said "what!?! Bob Marley was a human rights activist, NOT a singer"....seriously? -_-
I do admit every year california always has an indian summer. Just this past monday and tuesday it was 100 degrees outside..blahh! But great news if anyone lives in Los angeles we are finally gonna see an increase cool down, major!!!! even some rain !. Well you know what that means fall clothes hell yeah!!. I had that band tee expierence because I was wearing a Clash tshirt and I knew who the clash was and a couple songs but I admit I wouldn't have a favorite album and this guy totally complemented me on the shirt and called me out and asked what was my favorite album and I was screwed :p and this was all done at an indie theater of course. Worst and best way to make conversation I say
When I saw the video title, I thought this video was gonna be how to style band t-shirts that you brought from the shows (you know, from the merch stands etc) and I got really excited because the t-shirts from merch stands are often way too big & baggy, and they never fit me. I'm sure you have had the same experience with the band t-shirts before, and I was hoping you could do a video on how to fix that problem.
i know somebody who had an abby road tee on, so i was like: cool! i didn't know that u liked the Beatles. and then she was like: well the only song i know is let it be, buy the tee is pretty.
Me: bitch please. let it be isn't even on abby road. why don't you like beatles, and why the fuck are you wearing a abby road tee if you don't like them!!!!
hey jen! i love your videos. you have so much spunk and awesome style. my question is random but could you tell me how you can pick your thumbnail for each video? i can't seem to find a good video on that on YT and i am left with fairly undesirable images of myself before any viewers clicks on my video. much appreciated and thanks for all the awesome "how to" series!

And btw, don't worry too much about making videos for the colder climate people. I mean I live in sweden and I can almost never copy your outfits completely (not that that's what we're supposed to do) because of the cold but I mean I can still get really inspired by your clothes and then it's up to me to style them so I don't freeze to death :P
Jen, if you're a Joy Division fan, you have to watch 'Control'! I think one New Order member said it's a more realistic depiction of Ian Curtis' life than '24 Hour Party People'. And also, it's a very very good film.

I'm from gemrmany, therefore my engo´lish is not really good. And I must say this Video is so gorgeous. It's easy to understand, you extra write it in the picture where you got it from and it looks really good (although I'm not sure if it looks so amazing too, when I wear it).

When jenn mentioned the whole thing about only wearing band t's for bands she listened to I was like totally that makes sense I'm tired of all these kids on Instagram wearing nirvana t's cuz it's "hip" or trendy smh just imagine how awkward it'll be when someone asks you about the band & you kno nothing

How do you cut your band tees so well? I have so many crew neck men's small size band tees that I love to wear and I always just roll up the sleeves. It's cute sometimes, but I want to cut some of them into a more feminine fit! I feel like I always mess it up when I cut them. Could you do a tutorial? :)
In Brazil is also super hot, so it's great you're still doing outfits that I can wear ;D

Could you do a video on how to style really high waisted shorts? I have a pair, and they end at the top of my ribcage and im not sure what to wear with it.
Or maybe you could do a video on how to wear jean suspenders with jeans or shorts?

when I clicked on the video I was listening to the Cramps then I saw her shirt and I almost died... anyways, these are nice idea's, but there's still nothing wrong with wearing band tee's with just jeans and converse

I love your style. It's really similar to mine. These outfits are great and I can actually wear them now cuz even though I live in NJ it does not, by any means, feel like fall. It actually feels like spring lol

I love this! I live in Puerto Rico so in spring its summer, in summer its summer, in FALL ITS SUMMER but a bit more rainy and in winter its summer but a bit cooler at night so GRACIASSSS!! Def. do more california weather vids!

Some Teenagers in germany wear ramones or rolling stones tees without having ever listened to a song! I already came into weird situations with me saying "hey ho lets go" and them looking at me like i was crazy :D

We're dying at the moment...waiting for the cool weather to come. It was 110 degrees a few days back...and it's been 100 degrees-ish for awhile now even though it's fall. I nearly collapsed walking in shorts and a tank.
