The first fight between these two legends was more ferocious than this. It took place in Lumpini stadium 3 years before this fight. Sagat almost dropped Nokweed in round 2 and then Nokweed kicked the crap out of Sagat in the following rounds which earned him the decision win. Apparently when Sagat almost dropped Nokweed, Sagat had dislocated one of his teeth…
The Japanese judges score every technique evenly. That's why the fight was ruled a draw. Had they fought in Thailand, Nokweed would have won the decision.
@@danny24042002 Muay thai fans like I do. Nokweed Davy is one of the most underrated and arguably best of all times by resume (yes, even more than Samart)
Youre argument is based on thai judges score kicks higher than punch, sure. But nokweed is a much bigger fighter than sagat, and known for his heavy kicks and very tight defence, Sagat who is a much smaller fighter, has better hands, better sweep, better teep, and question mark kick, and I would argue better front leg roundhouse. Sagat is much better skilled fighter in my opinion for sure
@@8limbedwarriornakmuay175 If my memory is correct, he fought 3 times here. First, he KOed Ivan Grando in the early 1989, then drew with Sakad several months later. His last appearance in Japan was in 1995 when he went toe to toe with Jerome LeBanner for a K-1 event, some of the ringside observers thought the Thai should have won the decision.

@One Three Probably ( Wicharnoi is definitely greater than most legend in Muay Thai history ) but I think that a peak Nokweed would of find a way to beat Wicharnoi .

Harambo He sells himself short and doesn’t realize the full extent of this influence on modern MMA. The legendary Georges St Pierre was trained by Firas Zahabi, who was a student of Sagat.
@@8limbedwarriornakmuay175 I like Sagat cause hes a rare combination of femur and power. Yes Nokweed here is past his prime, but you gotta take the size difference into account though.
Street Fighter vs The Lord of Spirits. Ultimate skill vs ultimate power. Does not get better than this.
Sagar was power dude , he had hundreds of kos
ดีใจ และชื่นชมกับทั้งสองตำนาน ที่ได้ไปต่อยที่ญี่ปุ่น เพื่อเผยแพร่มวยไทยและโกยเงินเข้าประเทศ
Sakad and Nokweed are grate Muay Thai. For who interest muay thai you can look and learn from 2 guy.

Beautiful Muaythai respect Nokweed Davy
Nokweed Davy more weapons but Sagad Porntawee more intelligent
What year was it? これは、1986年頃でしょうか?
They didn't come to Japan to risk their injuries but to earn an easy money.
