Here we have a saying “ It never rains but it pours” I think this what is happening on bathroom renovations one problem after another. Just imagine how wonderful it will be when done. Hopefully your health improves and you are back to yourselves soon. Take care.
It's been a nightmare today. I think David finally fixed all the leaks by about 9pm tonight. He has had to dismantle cupbaords and cut into walls to replace joints and taps. Now Tracey starts trying to get it ready for tomorrow when the carpet people come. I have been staying out of the way because of the dust.
Have you tried a daylight bulb in a lamp? Pat, for your cross stitch? They can be helpful at this time of year as its brighter light that looks like daylight.
Hello Trevor and Pat, please don't put ear drops in your ear till you've spoken to your chemist. If your ear problem is the start of a ear infection you could end up with a very painful ear.😮 It's always best not to put drops in your ears any time. A warm flannel or hot water bottle wrap in a towel held on your ear might help xx
Oh wow, I feel for you and the family having such a big job before Christmas!🥰🎄 We are remodeling two full bathrooms within the next few months (one at a time of course). I’m hoping it goes relatively smoothly!
This is a nightmare, you won't believe the utter destruction owing to leaks. The carpet was supposed to be fitted tomorrow, but that has been cancelled, the place is in chaos.
I'm sorry you're feeling rough, still. This bathroom certainly is an event, isn't it? My goodness. Sorry I'm so far behind. I'll catch up as much as I can...and it likely won't be in the proper order. Trevor, listen to the boss (Pat) and rest as you can. Holding you both in prayer.
No one, least of all David, thought it was going to be the nightmare it has been. The stress of it hasn't helped my illness. Pat has coped with it in her usual calm way, and cooked us all a lovely meal last night.
Sorry to hear the bathroom is still ongoing. Its always like that in our house, thats why we don't start anything!! You try to fix one thing then stir up a whole can of worms!! Maybe the dust from all this work is also affecting your chest Trevor, its not like in the summer when you can open windows to help clear it all out. Look after yourself and I hope you feel much better soon. Good luck with the carpet fitting tomorrow.
Trevor if you don’t start feeling better soon it might be a good idea to ask for a chest X-ray. My husband was like you after a very bad chest infection so he was sent for one. All was fine so it made us feel better. Speedy recovery to both of you.
I started so I'll finish, damn sausage fingers!! Sorry toilet not finished, fingers crossed. Hope you start to feel better soon Trevor, perhaps you need a tonic or some winter sun. Take care both xxx
Oh no! Hope David can sort it out this afternoon for you all, it must be such a worry. Poor you Trevor, you do look like you’ve got the worries of the world on your shoulders. You’ve had an awful lot to put up with of late, hopefully the light is at the end of the tunnel and you will get your energy back soon. Don’t be so hard on yourself you have been really poorly!! Take care! If it helps we haven’t started Xmas shopping yet either. 😖
David is our son in law. The trouble is that David and his dad did the plumbing themselves when they did all the work on the house, and it's coming back to bite them. It's a disaster, there's another leak now. I have been ill today, I think it's the stress of all these problems.
Sounds similiar to mine / I ended up back in hospital last night. They told me I have an upper respiratory Viral infection. I lost hearing in both ears but doctor at hosp told me to hold my nose and keep blowing - it has worked to somewhat but like u im exhausted too and out of breath. Lots going around so take care and keep warm. Xx Hosp has said lots of rest and fluids. It will take a few weeks to get over it if it’s viral .. ❤
Hi Trevor and Pat - You are Going through Hell and Im Sorry about That Trevor - The Bathroom Was Looking Good But Now Things are Going Wrong - Pats Trying Her Best - Yes One Thing after Another XX
Haha, right? It’s a total mess, don't want another day like today, but we’re hanging in there! Pat's a star, and we’ll get through it together! I hope.
Hi pat & Trevor sorry to hear yous are struggling between house & illness , this bug has certainly done it rounds & floored many people of different ages so please give your self some peace you’ll be better when your body tells you . I know you hate people going on about what you should do but I think a nebuliser & different antibiotics & steroids should certainly shift it . Best wishes both . ❤️
Hello Trevor and Pat. I cant help thinking that your health has been affected by the crash. Maybe PTSD your suffering from . As it can come out in many ways. Im only saying this because when i was in an accident it caused lots of issues and trauma. Might be worth talking to your GP . Take care and hope you dont mind me saying this x
Thanks for the heads up! If I start talking to the bathroom tiles, then we’ll know it’s time to see a doctor! 😂 Seriously though, we just need to get some order back in our lives after this chaos, that's the only thing that's going to heal me.
Hi both! Trevor... have you ever thought all the dust etc from the bathroom could be affecting your chest? After watching this video it got me thinking, maybe that's why it's lingering? The best thing you can do is keep out of the way! You both should move out till it's finished... in a perfect world! 😁 Hope you're feeling better for Christmas 🌲⛄️🎉
I keep trying to keep out of the way, but I can't just sit around while others are struggling. Good old Pat is busy making a Sunday dinner in the middle of this crisis.
@trevorpat-lifeontherun True, it's a nightmare isn't it? Maybe it's time to get the professionals in? It's getting to be a major job.... one thing seems to be leading to another. As you say, he has a full time job and he's not young, both of them working and coming home to this! No fun before Christmas 😔
Everything you said is true, but they just wouldn't give up, and David eventually fixed all the leaks and Tracey stayed up most of the night and got the decorating done.
No, not finnished yet. Ernie has to be put back, and David has to refit the cupboard that he had to remove to get to the pipes then the shower screen has to be fitted and the toilet needs testing to make sure it doesn't leak when we flush it.
Trevor I fully believe you need steroids to get you back to A1. I know you are going to go mad at me but I'm just telling you what I think. ❤❤ Hope the bathroom gets sorted soon. Xx
Take care the both of you. A few more days and I'm sure things will be clearer. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Thank you Sandra.
You both take care of yourselves❤
❤

No end in site, we're going backwards here Karen.

She hasn't Vicky. Day light bulb, maybe we need to check that out.
Cotherstone was the village she went to after the farm, nice little village not that far from Barnard Castle. Amazing lady was Hannah.
Pat and I had a nice walk round the village. She sounded like a nice lady.

Ok, thank you Susan. Xx
You need to see the doctor Trevor again but getting appointment absolutely a nightmare but persevere. 😔
I'm supposed to get a phone call on Wednesday from one, but it's only about the new tablet for my prostate, I bet he won't talk about my breathing.
Hannah Hauxwell is her name, bless her she was such a lovely strong lady. I hope you feel better soon Trev.
She went to the heart of the nation Jak.
It's going to take time to get over this thing I have had.

No carpet being fitted tomorrow, the whole place is in a state of destruction.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun Oh dear, goes on and on doesn't it.
It's been a nightmare Mary. Parts of the house are wrecked locating leaks.

Everything just got a whole lot worse this afternoon, total destruction has taken place.
Is David a friend? All this perlavour with the shower room, sounds like something that would happen to me. Hope you get better soon Trevor x🎉

Have you got a peak flow meter for your asthma?
I used to have one, but it seems to have got lost in the moves. I was given it by the hospital in Scunthorpe.

I haven't got the energy to deal with the NHS Yvonne. My inhalers are steroid, so they will have to do.
The bathroom is an ongoing nightmare.
@trevorpat-lifeontherun I understand that, I just said it to show I care. X
