    I cannot wait to see the details about the August shows! this is amazing to see them doing these May shows though, fantastic.

      Yeah, I am hoping they will come to the NY NJ area, and hoping it won't be on the same day as the Metallica shows on 8/4th and 8/6th. Dan Harris commented saying if you are a Band-Maid fan club member, you can get the Omeisyusama VIP package which includes autographed items. Did you get the Live Nation VIP package for the NJ show last year?

      @@UncleYoshi Yes. I have seen Band-Maid twice, NYC 2019, VIP & we got to meet each member on the way in and then 1st shot at merch or front row spot, 100% worth it. nice quick personal interaction with each member as they personally signed the post card, Miku last up and handed it to me, Miku seemed to appreciate my tiny attempt at some Japanese, mostly thank you and I love you, IIRC lol. she was cute, they were all sweet. in October of 2022 in NJ, I did VIP again, we didn't get the personal meet & greet, but between being in line early & VIPs going in before the rest... I was able to secure my preferred spot in front row (this time between Misa and Miku.) The front row filled up fast. so IMO it was worth it. 2 for 2 with front row. never been front row for any concerts going all the way back to the 80s before. so even if I never get front row again, I have 2 experiences that are unmatched for me with any other concert experiences. I am only 5'6" so with everyone standing, I am anxious about not being able to enjoy the show if I don't get front row. I got a pick in 2019 from Kanami. Just missed a Misa pick in 2022. Surprise hand shake from Miku and a direct "thank you" from her as I thanked her back as well in NJ in 2022. still amazed at that, she's such an amazing person. I may or may not try to go for VIP and front row again if they come back to NYC or NJ in August. undecided. very tight budget this year. I might even enjoy having a seat in a balcony for a change, IDK yet lol. you?

      @@michaelmunno That's so awesome you got to do the meet and greet! They can't do that now for health reasons but like you said, it's 100% worth it. I won't be able to handle being up front like i used to back in the 80s. I'll be fine in the back but I may consider getting the VIP package so I can enter early and get the merchandise. I still don't have any Band-Maid CDs or shirts/hats, none whatsoever so far. But I'm going to Japan in March so hopefully I can at least get some Band-Maid CDs and pick up some for the fans here to give away on my channel. I had near front row seats for Loudness with Motley Crue in 1985 at Madison Square Garden. As well for Metallica with Cliff Burton opening for Ozzy at Nassau Coliseum. And plenty of small venue club shows, I was right up front. If Band-Maid comes to our area in August, hopefully Somehow Someway, I get to meet the girls from Band-Maid and get to talk to them, even if it's a brief moment.

    I'm near Detroit...St Andrews Hall is a small venue that should cater to the Maid's mastery of intimate spaces. The Maids are hardly known here but our proximity to other towns and Canada will guarantee a quick sell out ! This,of course,is their first time here...I hope in their downtime, Saiki gets to see the antique trains at the Henry Ford Museum or at least visit the Motown museum...Our music history is well known !

    See Y'all in Charlotte!!!! Can't wait! Cleveland is my home city and I hope they go there. They can't keep snubbing the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame city. I thought the last tour for sure they would go there but no, Cleveland snubbed, and they have a House of Blues there too.

      Hi Jim, glad to hear you can go to the Charlotte show. Band-Maid will come back in August so hopefully they go to the House of Blues in Cleveland.

      @@UncleYoshi That'd would be awesome. I turned my sister, brother-in-law and cousin back home on to the Maids so I'm sure they'd be there.

      @@UncleYoshi Cleveland is a big “Union” city so I really hope the musicians union isn’t a problem for them to go there. It would be ironic but not surprising.

      @@_JimS ohhh ok. Unions got plenty of red tape. Hopefully that won't be a problem.

    No meet and greet. The only diff between the both VIPs is the platinum comes with an autographed item.

      Thanks Greg! I think Band-Maid has too many shows going on for meet & greet right now. Do u remember how much the VIP was? I recall it was around $125 for the last tour.

      It was around that ballpark figure .
      They won't do those anymore for health safety reasons.

    Houston and Austin aren't that far apart ... by Texas standards, anyway. It's something like 150-160 miles, maybe a little more.

    • @UncleYoshi
      @UncleYoshi  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's great for Band-Maid fans in Texas. They can go to both shows!
