Exactly why I have a “random” container full of different screws,
I also have a bunch of random springs… now if you ever get a chance to match a missing spring that’s the final dad level completed 😂🤣😂😂
til i'm a "dad".
This has to be the best youtube short that I’ve ever seen.
I Agree 💯
Definitely up on the leaderboards!
Edit: Sorry, meant podium XD
Definitely up there 😂 So good
I'm 51. YES!! Having a junk drawer, a junk closet, or even just space for junk IS in our culture. 👍🏾 I know that feeling 🤣🤣🤣🤣
450 Likes and no reply?Let me fix that
This isn't my thread, but I do appreciate the "likes" I just shared the vid with the ol lady. She just shook her head and chuckled...😂😂😂
your cat seems chill ‼️
Its so satisfying when you finally found a use for it! Whatever it may be!!
I got rid of a bunch of old cables last year and not 2 weeks later I needed one 🤣
This is so true.
My dad had this experience the other day. I've never seen a man so proud of a piece of wood. Lowkey got some second hand pride from that moment. It's the little things in life
This is so on point. I felt this happiness, this sense of fulfillment, this final validation of all my accumulated oddities, deep down into my very bones.
I wish wives understood this
Hey there! Jesus Christ loves you. He is the only way to heaven. May God bless you! 😊

Hell no, there are millions of us just like that. In fact, i inherited my dad's old stuff when he passed away, and some of that stuff belonged to his father and his brother before they passed away.
Can relate. My Pop passed away years ago and left me tools, fittings, wood and lots of gadgets. Not a week goes by without one of these doo-dads coming to the rescue during a project or repair.
Doo-dads perfect name for them 😂
I get it, Dad?
R.i.p. To ur pops man I'm sry
@@Chadsheffield. Yep, my Dad. My little girl called him Popa and it stuck.

So simple but yet so relevant.
Great content
You just validated dads everywhere and gave us hope...
I relate to this so much. It is so exciting when random junk becomes useful. Everybody says throw it away, but i know someday it will be useful!
Inspired by true events
The run was wholesome asf
That's why I shit in ziploc bags
How to slowly become a hoarder
The day you throw it away you need it for something
Its crazy how making this skit is probably a core memory for both of them. So cool to see a family be close and open with eachother like this 😃 keep it up.
I have boxes full of usable stuff still waiting for that very moment 😢
There's no such thing as "core memories". It is a false concept made up by a kids movie :) What you're referring to is simply called autobiographical or long term memory. This has a high chance of making it into their long term memory, unless they do hundreds of skits, then it's less likely
Your dad is such a vibe god bless him.
"Something like this" 😂😂😂 Another wonderful moment in hoarding history. 🤣🤣🤣💪👍
The trick is teaching the kids to hold onto this stuff, too, when we're gone...
@@mimiashford5544 lol. 😃🤣

exactly
You know when those ALWAYS come in handy… right after you finally get rid of it after all those years!!!
I've done that SO MANY TIMES. 😔😔😔
So damn true 😂
right after someone else gets rid of it*
I know this all to well lol, just recently got rid of some car parts that I didn’t think I was going to ever use and of course I ended up getting rid of a driveshaft that I needed 😂
Your dad has the most contagious smile I've ever seen. Genuine happiness.
For real! Why is grandad such a great actor? So much charisma!!
Forget winning the lottery, this is a dads real happiness
I'm not a dad, or even a man, but I can indeed confirm, it is the BEST feeling when you can finally justify keeping random scraps
There's a junk drawer, cupboard or basement/attic in every house and they are the place dreams are made of
When I was in the hospital and everyone betting against me, my brothers tossed everything out of my barn. I had spare pipe and fittings they had no idea what they were for. One day my brother asked to borrow my belt sander, I was still sick, then he said, "If you can find it." I was insulted and knew exactly where it was and where all my remaining stuff is. I need stuff as I live in the country in an old house and I make stuff.
@@markh4926 Yes my Dad knows exactly where his things are as well. 😊
It's totally different as a father. Because you save things to save money which also takes care of your kids
My dad had a few moments like this a few years ago when Covid had everything locked down and catching up on home improvement projects. Never saw a man so happy over keeping a piece of junk for over two decades. This was beyond wholesome.
Did it feel nostalgic?
@@Bugg103 Oh yeah. The music in the vid made it even better, lol
Not just keeping it. More like safeguarding it from a wife hwo constantly nagging him to throw away those useless pieces of junk.
That is how hoarders start.
@@Zerg435 It's not hoarding if you use it, eventually. Even if it takes 20 years.

100% accurate. Also when you throw away that piece of junk you've been holding on to for years and within the week you end up finding a need for it.
Right
Yup. All the time 😅
so very true. every time.
Sure fire way to need it every time
I don't know why but one of the things that makes me happiest is seeing old people happy
based
Nah. Too many of them have been too greedy and screwing up everything for younger generations by being selfish
That and kids that are happy. It’s because they’re just the best of society.
im the same, except I get extra emotional when I see old people hurt
@@dragonmaster3207Nah, them kids I see happy way too often. In fact, thanks to my brother, I would be happy if they don't. Smiling means they want to ruin your day.
This guy is the perfect encapsulation of that wholesome family dad everyone kinda wishes they had.
Totally. Better than the narcissist dad I had who died in January
Yup
All that just to find out it doesn’t fit 😭😭

I'm sorry man
And he will always remind everyone about this every time somebody tells him "why do you keep this junk, just throw it away " xD
100%
I hear it all the time and it doesn't matter how many times that so called junk has fixed something I always hear you need to to throw this junk away NO I'm not I will go through it but I'm not throwing all of it out .
@@gamerX-wk7ct It's not junk... it's a resource pile!
@@gamerX-wk7ctyou are thinking in the lottery mindset. Yes 1 out of 100 times it's useful. How does that justify the other 99 times?

@@DimT670 the thing with me I work on anything from cars to mowers also do my own home repairs to electrical so I have a good bit of things and try to keep it all together but not like a huge junk pile . the money it has and does save me is enough to justify keeping it . of course junk I know I won't use gets trashed or scrap .
