The problem is to get that automatic gearbox you have to take version which costs 2x the price of base car. That's a lot of money for a car with 3 stars in crash tests. At that price you have good alternatives from brands like Skoda.
@@DrivingCars he s not wrong though. i just tried to configure a dacia duster tce 150 edc "prestige" and a skoda kamiq tsi 150 dsg "style". A full option duster is around 23K and the kamiq with the exact same options as the duster is around 27K. its only 4K more but you get better materials, better engine (more reliable, same 150hp, same 250n/m), better gearbox (dualclutch), better comfort, rear wheel brake discs instead of drums, better curbe stability, better nameplate and a 5 star safety rating. and thats for only 4K extra which i think is manageable. Yes, you get slightly bigger dimensions in the duster (+10cm longer, +14cm higher) but is it worth it? Dont get me wrong, im a huge fan of dacia because i am a romanian myself, but for the duster to be a great competitor, it should at least improve safety ratings, interior materials and get rid of the rear wheel brake drums, all while keeping the same 23K price range
@@raduradu5966 if you go and do the oil changes and respect the inspection dates of the car, it can run 500K too. idk the ones i drove were really realiable

Just ordered the TCE 150 4X4 Yesterday...can't wait😅
Just ordered mine 150 DCT in Arizona. Not sure how long delivery will be yet.😁
What about EDC automatic gearbox? Is it smooth and intuitive like VW dual clutch? And can you shift manually and paddle shift?
No, it's not so smooth like in renaults or VWs, but it's not bad at all.

Same price and same engine with equipment? Are you sure?
Uhh it’s 4 stars the facelift which is this one and has all of those extras other ones are older versions and have worse crash test and no extras

Opinion about the engine-transmission?Road quality?
not bad, but some Renaults have smoother EDC. But for me it's a good choise and another reason to buy this car
