Hi there, sorry if this is a stupid question but I've got an existing jamma cab. Could I literally plug in the jamma connector and it will work? I don't need to connect my monitor to it? The jamma harness has all that doesn't it? Thanks in advance x
@@Megaman5225 you need to verify the pinout. There is no way to answer that. Not all jamma harness are the same and not all boards use the same pinout. Best to 100% verify.
we are no longer stock this at this time. We have the family version still though www.diyretroarcade.com/products/easy-pandoras-family-pcb-encoder-plug-and-play-install-kit
DIY Retro Arcade Would you be able to put one together as a special order? I’d like to mod my SF2 cabinet but don’t have the know how. I can’t afford the new SEGA cabinet but I already have all the games I want on this disc. This would be a much cheaper alternative.
Shane, I got a question about the Pandora's box DX 2992 version that you have for sale on your site. I have a Dynamo cabinet CRT and I wanted to know will that DX 2992 version will work on my arcade?
@@diyretroarcade Thanks for writing back. As for the jamma harness it's brand new and I added new stuff to the machine like wires and monitor issue so really the arcade is like new when I bought it. Now are you saying there is another version of the jamma harness or will the old version will work fine? (You said to be safe) Where do you change the resolution on the DX menu?
@@FrostyMikeGaming just verify the machine is wired "jamma standard" for resolution see: helpdesk.diyretroarcade.com/kb/product-manuals/how-to-change-the-resolution-on-the-pandoras-box-dx
@@diyretroarcade Oh the wiring is correct and I had a Pandora's box 3 and 4s+ on the machine before so everything worked fine. Now I am looking for a CPS2 black A motherboard for sale since I need one for my usa blue B board but I just can't find any for sale beside Ebay. Thank you for the resolution link and that will help alot.
they just sell out fast. We put a batch up on Wednesday morning and they were gone by that afternoon. Wish they were faster to solder up. They are very time consuming to make for sure
That was the best walkthrough i have ever listen too. Thanks...great job
Nice work, Shane.
Shane rules! Love the quality of his products.
I love their mod and the tutorial are so easy to follow, love it
Might be a good idea to drill a hole and push a pin through the harness to prevent anyone from installing it backwards.
Would this wiring work with the "Arcade Classics 60 In 1 PCB w/ CGA VGA Jamma Vertical AC708" DIY Retro sells?
How to connect to a pc monitor? instead of the arcade1up monitor.

It was just a general question about pandoras x

When will this be in stock. I need this kit badly

What are the best joysticks that actually last awhile?
Where you can connect the coin acceptor?
Why so much to ship to the UK just for the harness , or can I get this anywhere else that dosnt cost 80 dollars to ship
we use UPS for international and they are going to bill at 1lb minimum. Shipping via UPS is not cheap but it at least arrives.
What’s the chance of creating an Xbox 360 plug and play kit? I have a SEGA compilation disc that I would love to use in a stand up cabinet.
Nothing planned at this time but you never know! Thanks for the idea!

Best would be to change the jamma harness to be safe but the DX will work fine with a CRT, you will need to adjust the resolution.

Mine flashes a red led light inside when powered on. Is this a fault? I can't find information on this anywhere
red light is normal
@@diyretroarcade ah okay cool. Thanks man
What games does it play
By any chance, do you happen to have a Golden Tee pcb board from Arcade1up and a Golden Tee laying around for sale?
We do not.
Does the pcb have a plug for a trackball. ?
No, the trackball for the DX hooks directly to the DX itself.
do you have an email where we can reach you? I am from the Philippines and very much interested to your pcb

No coin acceptor? Not complete
you hook the mech to the coin section on the board.
quit selling this? says out of stock.
We stopped until after the new years. They are hand soldered, too time consuming for now with the volume we are doing.
