Gohan turns 11 shortly after getting out of the Time Chamber. He TECHNICALLY goes in at "just about to be 10", but you get a one-year skip in there.
Theyre actually only in there for 10 months. The dont spend the full year inside. So he goes in days before he turns 10, and comes out 2 months before he'd turn 11

I'd do the Buu bits after they watched DBZ Kai completely since it is all spoilers. Remember that Boom as never seen Dragonball.
The order is DBZ Abridged Kai, the Dragon Shortz, then HFIL, and then Buu Bits.

I know people have probably said the Buu Bits, but I want to suggest Totally Not Mark's review of the Buu saga which goes over the story and his personal thoughts with the Buu bits. That way there's context of the story whenever they abridge a scene because otherwise you may be lost of some of the jokes. If you end up only doing the Buu bits, that's fine too. You guys do you. And afterwards, watching Battle of Gods, Ressurection F and Dragon Ball Super.
I agree, I just wonder if they'd think it's something that gels enough with their content to fully react to rather than watch on their own time.

Id also suggest Fate Stay/Night UBW Abridged since it can be enjoyed with no knowledge of the series but the jokes get even better with context.
I love the clever and subtle writing of TFS, dropping facts here and there as jokes, because, for example, they played Goku silly but Goku asking Gohan why didnt he go Super Saiyan in Namek makes perfect sense and it is a legitimate question considering other facts still to come.
for as overconfident as Vegeta is when he knows he's stronger, it still makes for some absolutely awesome one-liners, the sass is off the charts
The Krillin bits in this episode were nods to the fact he later becomes a cop in Super
In case you guys didn’t realize, vegeta is using a new form here called ascended super saiyan, hence the bigger muscles and spikier hair. Trunks also uses this form as well.
Also known as Super Saiyan Grade 1. The bulkier one trunks uses is Grade 2
@@darknesswave100 Grade 1 is regular Super Saiyan. Vegeta is using Grade 2 right now.
It was stated that this form of Super Saiyan isn't 2, rather Vegeta called it Super Vegeta. In the games, both Vegeta and Trunks' ascended Super Saiyan forms are also referred as Super Vegeta and Super Trunks.

At 1:45 Vegeta does not say Sure you can. He actually says Shuryuken, which is a fist move in Mortal Kombat.
Gohan is ten. Gohans 11 birthday is celebrated after leaving the chamber, between the 7 days till the cell games.

Since everyone's suggesting the obvious ones, I'm gonna pitch Final Fantasy VII Machinabridged. TFS's final abridged series and one of their best. It's like DBZA, it starts more parody-ish, but then it becomes such a great retelling of FF7's story with that good ol' TFS flair.

Gohan is 11 when he kills cell, which includes the 1 year in time chamber (making his body 10) so in this episode he's 9 cuz the year in the chame aint up yet and he has a birthday before he kills cell
after DBZA, there is Kai Abridged. Then Dragon Shorts, followed by HFIL, followed by Buu bits.

The dialog in this episode is probably my favorite in the abridged series.
Its too bad, vegeta coula killed cell, stolen any chance of victory from kakarot, saved the planet, and rubbed everyone's nose in it at once. And potentially be stay stronger than goku for a little bit.

Team Four Star also created Hellsing Ultimate abridged and I highly recommend it.
I think its worth noting that up until the Cell Saga, Vegeta has the most on screen kills in Z. Some would try to say Nappa, but Vegeta decimated earth's military forces (much like Cell) alongside Nappa.
When? I'm pretty sure all he killed was Nappa and a Saibaman while first on Earth.

4:40 It's true. I first stumbled on dbza on a random clip from an episode in the cell saga and misttok it for something official at first.

I mean Jujutsu Kaisen and Frieren: Beyond Journeys end are 2 fantastic series to recommend.
If you guys are Taking requests from TH-cam I would love to see Hajime no Ippo. It is a classic anime from 2000 and it is about how a High School Student gets into boxing. I really enjoy watching it as the main writer owns and runs a boxing gym. Very dynamic and old school animation style and very good story arcs that isn't just about the fights but also how they all learn about boxing and how to prepare for matches.
Also Cowboy Bebop. a nice Space Western Anime.
The post DBZA series are Good options, HFIL, DRAGON SHORTS, BUU BITS, or the others TFS séries, hellsing abridged or final fantasy machinabridged

As others have said: Hellsing Ultimate Abridged, it’s amazing, starts a little cringey, like DBZA, but kicks off real fast and is hilarious.
I suggest Kipo and The Age of Wonderbeasts as the next series, need more people to see that show.

I'm glad they didn't continue on to the Buu saga. By this point, they had stopped making a comical "abridged series" and were doing a straight up "fandub" of the series. I enjoy their dub of the Cell saga better than the American dub of it, but the jokes they added were getting really minor and not too "out of character" compared to the original. By this point the only real difference between the TFS version and the original was the voice acting, with a few jokes thrown in. I guess that shows how high quality they became, that they were able to dub an anime as well as the professionals. But they were no longer transforming the original content enough to call it an "abridged" series. You can watch the TFS Cell saga and then go to the American dub of the Buu saga without stumbling. You'll lose some potential jokes, but even the voice acting is similar enough to make it a smooth transition. I like to think that's part of why they stopped, because they realized they were just doing a second english dub of a series that already had a good english dub and they weren't even being paid like the original dubbers. Instead they branched out and played with other projects, like their "let's plays" with Krillin's voice, some of my favorite let's plays to date. Those would be fun to watch a "reaction" video to.

So I know plenty have suggested TFS's Hellsing and FF7 abridged, as well as SWE's Sword Art Online abridged. I'd also throw out there UBW abridged by Project Mouthwash and Goblin Slayer Abridged by Grimmjack. There are also a bunch more TFS videos worth checking out like some Anime in X Minutes shorts.
