  • Been back in “recovery mode” the last 3 weeks so no adventures as of late to post. Have to work on a “staying healthy” for 2024 right? This time the Dark Covid hit my family hard. Start screwing with nature in a malevolent way and this is what we get : a Frankenstein virus. I think I had it mild back in 2021 but this time it hit with a vengeance. Immunity theft from Covid causes other opportunistic pathogens to strike at the same time I read the other day. No argument here. I can’t believe I still have my epoxy WINDANCE 7’11” board. I just picked up where I left off with challenges I chose to take on. Had fun making this compilation of memorable H20 sessions sailing in the Gorge ,Oregon Coast and wakeboarding Hagg & Yale lakes between 2019 and 2022. Along with my son Andrew and his friends we made some great memories together on the water. Makes me want to get my boat out of our garage as it has been resting too long. We use a 7’ Insanity Pylon which we all like a lot. Found some early Windsufing footage from when I returned to the Sport back in 2020 and I was amazed at how much things had changed in the span of 16 years. The first photo was taken by my son of my very first jump in over 15 yrs at the point at the Hatchery. If anyone knows who made the old school sail I was using on the double attempt please let me know in comments. Then injuries ensued. That is life , take the good with the bad. Focus on the good. Big shout out to pics by Shane @ Cougar Store who lent us a pair of proper footwear for the Ape Caves when gassing up in Cougar,Wa the greatest station in Washington. We would not have been able to negotiate the caves otherwise as forgot my gear. He told us how glassy Yale gets for wakeboarding so we took several trips there and Shane,Andrew and I had a blast. Happy New Year and thanks for watching.

Thanks River! Manzanita is one of my fave spots. It has a great vibe. Ya the A Rock is so fun and volume is key for me in light wind :) Have a great new year too and make sure to let me know when you return !

Thanks Primoz , i agree wholeheartedly and I do a lot of driving. I am originally from Syracuse ,New York and now reside in Tigard, Oregon. Spots take anywhere from 25 mins to 2 hrs to arrive. Most are avg 1 hour away. Where do you sail?
