Just saw these guys last night with my dad. my dad saw Stevie Ray Vaughan at the forum in California back in 1987 and said this is literally SRV reincarnated.
Definitely the best SRV Tribute band I’ve ever heard or seen....I’m 55 and been around long enough to have seen em all pretty much. Friggin awesome guys, just in awe right now👍🎸
Not lying.. for like the first minute of hearing him I was like “wow this is really clear footage from back then” then I realized wow. That’s not even him😂
This chick I'm casually dating found out how big of a SRV fan I am and she got us tickets to see them. I'm 23 so stevie's been gone before I was even a thought... should I marry this chick? Lol
I saw Stevie & DT a couple of times and even photographed him from the foot or the stage. Not only is this guy’s playing and mannerisms so much like SRV, even the Fender looks identical with the lettering and wear marks. 🤯
Tommy really does do SRV justice- even his singing is nearly a perfect SRV copy. He's done his homework and has the chops all right - even getting the tone right. But Tommy's so good I'd like to see him take this to another level and start his own thing too- with that vocabulary you'd think he'd be able to come up with some smashing originals now. Funny how much he sounds like Stevie when Tommy (Tamas) is from Hungary and a fairly recent immigrant relatively speaking- I mean he was an adult when he came over and when you hear his interviews he still has the accent- but that just goes to show how much work he's put in.
Tommy Katona has been playing SRV for many years. I was blown away the first time I saw them. I’m so glad they are from here in Dallas so I can see them from time to time.

The last thing you do is dress up like him and try to emulate him cause you just do yourself a disservice. It's like trying to emulate Jeff Buckley or Freddie Mercury or Prince. Do you not him. Joe Cocker and Jimi Hendrix to Beatle and Dylan songs but their way. Tribute bands always suck like bad perfume.
