The Stockholm Open is the "World Series" of street racing in Sweden, the year end finale to finish up a wild year of racing. We bring you this full feature movie showing you our first experience at the race as we're challenged with filming a MASSIVE cash days style street race that goes down in a 40 mile radius all over Stockholm for one night. We are busy editing FOUR massive street races from the following two years we filmed and are now able to bring to our fans, in the mean time, enjoy this wild movie!

@@thequant2817 They're all spectators blocking the cops. There's no traffic at 3am lol.
@@thequant2817 yeah as the other guy said, theres minimal traffic and they do this for the sole cause of not putting people in danger. The road goes one way so they stop any potential crashes.

Dog you could better say, it’s normal in europe! And yeah there are choppers to follow you but a good driver can escape from a chopper too!

@@dog1320 This year Sweden put up 2 helicopters during stockgolm open and there were some cars who got chases by those but they didn't get caught. Sadly the xtx Volvo got caught by police and they're going to scrap the car and the engine.

I had a Swedish instructor in Volvo school named Erik Oman and these people are awesome . He many time s got in trouble for pushing the limits on how much he was showing us and going out of curriculum. Thank you crazy Swedes for always pushing the limit !

This is the baddest shit I've ever seen this is real street racing 100% everyone here in the US talks about real Street this real street that but yet they're organized closed roads set up for street race the boys in the Sweden are doing it right with Big Balls of Steel hands down this is real street

@@boostedone1367 You're right racing a caged car with safety equipment is a lot different so many things could have gone sideways for them in that car it was kinda wreckless. I personally don't drive ridiculous with others in my car but I've also been in an accident where a friend and family member died it ruins your life. Wasn't my fault and wasn't driving but the driver was being dumb and we all paid for it. They all hopped in the Evo willingly so can't say too much but to think all of 1320 could have been gone in one instant blows my mind.

That was one of the best things I've seen. Tolerance from the police and a public which appeared to be onside, a dream to most of us but not in Sweden. The crew's driver was a gun, smooth as.

Them Stockholm boys are the European version of Good Ol' Boys. Also cop shows up in volvo wagon sees another volvo wagon swapped with a big block and blower, immediately puts in a request for a 5 cylinder with big ass turbo with an excuse that somehow makes it work related.

i live near gothenburg and went to a street race there it was fun although i was driving my slow volvo it was still fun to compete against people with extreme race cars

That evo may have been doing alot of work, but that doesn't subtract from the fact that this man can drive. Just watch the road as he speeds along; his reflexes are impressive.
How come the driver of the evo can drive around like that without getting caught? arent there any (speeding) cameras? if you do that in Belgium, they have your face + plate on numerous cameras
There are cameras in sweden but usually just on country roads (take me home) These guys are driving from north STHLM to south STHLM and the other way around so its fine!
The evo have no plates.. and he just need a scarf or something.
In sweden the cameras are marked out and always at the same spots and mostly in areas where the speed limit drops
If you never been on sthlm Open or some other streetraces in Sweden, you need to go.
