what i really like about some of his skits (like this one) is how genuinely happy they start to feel. Like, the one guy was first really opposed, but it was lovely to see him open up and all of them just starting to be genuinely happy and excited together. This is the kind of interaction humans should strive for.

Actually, fondue was invented as a solution to a specific problem where people could not melt cheese because fun fact, cheese without additives, separates into its components when it’s heated up and cannot be put back together, In other words, melting cheese ruined the cheese for the longest time. The first fondue was made by mixing cheese with wine, because as it turns out wine kept the cheese from separating as such you could now officially make a cheese that you could melt, turn back into a solid, and then melt again. This was extremely useful in traveling situations, and the main way that this cheese was eaten, was by dipping bread in it and that’s how we got fondue. Modern fondue does not contain wine or anything like that and I cannot really remember what additive it uses now but it still does use an additive that keeps the cheese together while it’s melted. A similar additive is added in a lot of cheeses now which gives us a lot of cool things like the ability to mix cheeses, which gives us things like American cheese and other kinds of cheeses that are just mixtures. It’s also what gives us pizzas were the cheese is Melty And things like grilled cheese, which I feel are only satisfying of the cheese is melted through, So thank you fondue for making melted cheese a reality that could be used for a lot of different things o7
What are you talking about? I have goats and make cheese with nothing but culture, raw goats milk and rennet. The culture is just a bacteria which you can make yourself with fermentation and the rennet is literally what makes cheese, cheese, it's an enzyme made from calf stomach or you can extract it from vegetables as well. Not a single additive and the cheese melts just fine. I don't think you can consider those other things additives because without coagulants cheese is just milk. Idk where you got this information but I'm calling bs. I've made hundreds of batches of fresh cheese, we have cows too and have made cows cheese as well. It melts fine and hardens.
