The thing with flat heads is theu dont bite and run the bite and sit for a sec so gotta wait till it moves to set the hook also circle octopus hooks is def the right right

You will get one over 15 pounds there. Just put your time in. Once all this high water goes down. Which will probably be another week or so. The Flathead fishing there will be really good. For big Flatheads at that Dam “20+ pounds “ I do the best thereJuly, August,and early September.

Thank you! the drop net is.. somewhat effective lol it doesn’t sink on it’s own but with current it can slowly submerge.
