- For the first time in several seasons, the SEC Western division is wide open. With Ole Miss pulling the upset against LSU, Texas A&M dominating Auburn and Arkansas, and Alabama coming back from the dead, it's anyone's race. But since these teams haven't been able to separate themselves on the field, we're doing it the old fashion way; they have to compete on a game show.

As an Arkansas fan, I’m just glad we won something. Lord knows we needed it (both the win and the counseling).
So happy for Arky. They had a rough week.
And 7 wins is crazy high for this year. Looking like maybe a 3 win season.
Played LSU pretty tough. I was impressed.

LOL! Somehow, Arkansas went from the most penalized team in the west, to a team with 0 penalties last Saturday when playing A&M. Even the SEC Network announcers noticed ...Wow

@@prestongraham8957 Refs just felt bad for us. Who wants to penalize a team who got sacked 9 times and 15 tackles for loss? Our only bright spot was hit with a season-ending injury on the second play of the game.

The refs went from calling double digit penalties on Arkansas per half to calling absolutely nothing. Refs hate A&M.
Don't forget the 2 forced turnovers the refs have taken away from A&M in the last 2 weeks.
I mean that was the only highlight during that game cause Arkansas is usually screwed over by the refs. Happens 99% of the time with this being the one game that dropped it from 100%. Last year was bad with refs ejecting players and then games like Auburn where the refs didn't even hide helping Auburn win in numerous years against Arkansas. Auburn not being the only game where the Refs stepped in to make sure Arkansas lost.

I watched a game from 2011 to remind me what a defense should look like because I legitimately forgot. (and that team needed the defense to score to win so hey, it's tough all over)

Every SEC has a message board that runs a game thread on game day. Where fans can discuss the game real time.
Most teams game day thread gets about 30-50 pages worth of posts.
Arkansas usually gets around 120 pages lol.
Its like a 3 cheese blend if the cheeses were anger, grief, and denial.
Contradictory emotions that shouldnt be possible but sometimes you can find all three in the same post.
Anger, Grief, & Denial will be the name of my next Blues/Metal band
Being a hog fan can have you still thinking that you could clutch the SEC West while also thinking that you could go 0-8 in conference play in the very same season. Hog Twitter can drive anyone to insanity if you stare into that abyss long enough.

LSU fan....I'm crying and laughing at the same time. Our offense is clicking, and now our defense looks like something we borrowed from a high school team. Can't we have BOTH sides working just once!!! I think the last play at the end was a touchdown also. Perhaps that was tasteless, but the refs aren’t there to protect everybody’s feelings.

And we're spiraling 2 yrs after that comeback season. Many label the 4th and 1 vs BYU as the turning point. Ultimately, KJ's dive and fumble vs A&M last yr was the real turning point. Before it, we had won 12 of our last 16. Since the dive/fumble, we're 6-9.
