    Thanks for the tips! I just got a couple of these sets and used them with Archival. They stamped beautifully right out of the gate.

    What is the difference between dye, pigment, distress and hybrid ink, also what are the best card stocks to use for these inks, bleeding, smearing, etc? I am new ( NOVICE ) to stamping and card making , and not very knowledgeable in these areas. I have been watching your videos and getting excited about learning a new hobby, and the more I watch your videos the more excited I get . I recently retired after 30 yrs in law enforcement and I am finding it a bit difficult to adjust, after a lifetime of adrenaline fill encounters and situations, never knowing how things would turn out, but I can tell you it was never boring and a very rewarding experience. Now it's time for this old gal to slow down and walk a different beat ,and I'm hoping you can help me in my new endeavor. God Bless and Thank You for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us. Keep those videos coming. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thanks for the quick video! Trying to decide about these inks...not that I need more ink of course! I was surprised you didn't condition the stamps before using. I assume that would have made the stamping even better...

      I never condition my stamps. They do that naturally but with really great inks there really isn’t a need to. Stamps do stamp better over time though.

    I love my original versafine inks, now they seem to be replaced with these CLair inks. Which green, would you say, is the closest to the Ranger colour Bottle? Thanks for this video really helpful

    How about acrylic stamps? Do those stamp pads do well with acrylic stamps?

    Awesome. These are VERY Vibrant looking. Being pigment ink, how well do they emboss? I like to use colored in and clear powder... So, I would be Very Interested in seeing these inks with clear embossing powder. .

    I just have to ask is orange your favorite color? Love these stamps and they sure did stamp well. Sometimes the ink will fill in those bubbles when it thoroughly dries. Thanks for the review, hugs!!!

    I have not seen these inks...thanks for sharing, they look like they work really well! Are there re-inkers available?

    Looks like I’ll be saving up for a full set of Clair’s now. These are the only inks other than TH Distress line to have really caught my eye. I San see a thousand different occasions I want to use each and every colour. Thank you so much for introducing them to us so well. QUESTION: how well will these inks perform if I want to shade using dauber or brushes please? Love you Maymay🌹. YIC

    I’m thinking of getting these for layering flower stamps, that I’ve bought on Ali. Do you think they’ll work ok on a larger area?❤️🇦🇺

      Hi these inks stay wet for a good while so they would be perfect for layer stamps, you will need to let the colors dry in between each separate color... thanks

    Someone may have already asked this question, are you able to emboss with these inks?
    What sort of color inks would you recommend for embossing?

    Have wondered what inks are best to use with markers? Or is there a trick to stamping then coloring with markers that prevents ink bleeds / muddying that I am missing?

    • @s_rofbear
      @s_rofbear 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      patsyfras, the trick is to use an "opposite" ink to whatever medium you are using. If you are watercolouring, you use an alcohol based ink like Versafine. If you are colouring with alcohol markers like Copic, you use a waterbased dye ink like Memento.
      Or you can get something like Lawn Fawn's Jet Black ink, or the new Gina K black amalgam ink, which work with everything!

      Yes, these cleaned super easy. I just rubbed it across my squeaky clean scrubber and it cleaned right off.
