tres flores water based is as good as any typical water based pomade. especially when used with the tres flores tonic

For the people who are asking where to get tres Flores, if you live in Southern California go to your nearest Cardenas(Major Mexican market chain) they sell it for around $4, they hide it at the top of the shelves so watch out for them.
you can get them almost anywhere swapmeets i even found them at kmart lol you can also go to those old liquor stores they have them there too

Found Tres Flores at my walgreens in the Hispanic section. That particular location is in a Hispanic majority town to begin with so perhaps that's the reason they carried it.

just to let you kmow there are thicker versions of the Tres Flores use to rock it back in jr high and high school
You should try out some 360 Style, in the blue jar. It's a pretty decent pomade that almost works like a water soluble (shampoos out pretty easily, and you can use more or less water to balance out hold). The only less-than-desirable thing about it is the shine.

They have tres Flores here at Walmart. But I do live in new mexico.... I don't know if that has much to do with it.
You might want to also try Lucky 13 Junior's gel pomade., it's a water base pomade that does not harden in your hair like a gel but stays smooth like a oil pomade. It smells like coconut and I like it very much. Check it out and good luck in barber school.

Body talc after a shower, liquid oil followed by molding pomade with a topcoat of solid, shave then use their aftershave/body splash. You will get the good kind of stranger danger from pretty ladies. Flower power, gentlemen.

It would, as most folks in New Mexico are Navaho Native Americans. That more likely has a lot to do with it.
