      I know this comment is from four years ago, but for Asian hair, a good haircut will have to be a priority before any product or styling implement.

    Combining this product with the thres flores hair tonic, will give a better result. From experience, the hair tonic keeps a nice shine while also keeping the stray hairs at bay throughout the day. Try it out! :D

    • @HarrisonTruong
      @HarrisonTruong 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've combined this with Murray's Superior in the past, and it does a decent job of keeping that dryness down. I'm just guessing this hair tonic is a very light oil that can fill in what's missing in this pomade if we wanted shine/slickness. Thanks for the tip.

      Mtztillidie hair nets help 2, my hairs not even an inch but since ive been wearing a hair net to sleep since i got a haircut and my hairs already starting to go back and its barely an inch (and i havent used any products yet)

    • @danbasta3677
      @danbasta3677 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mtztillidie Don't laugh. Here ot goes. Get a crew cut. Use whatever product you want, such as Brylcream, Wildroot hair cream, or Groom & Clean. Using only small applications of whatever product you choose to use, get a scalp brush and start brushing it from front to back also using water to disapate the product throughout your hair. Allow your hair to grow in, sticking upwards and continuing to use your hair product of your choice, and keep on brushing it back so that all your hair stands upward, and laying back. Once its all grown in, much longer, your hair will get use to sticking up and brushing back. Once all fully grown in and it stays in place upward and back, keep it there for awhile, then, here it goes, get another crew cut snd start the process all over again until your hair product you've used is all used up, in the end, once its fully grown in again it will stay in place growing in and growing backwards and will look natural and pretty much trained to continue to have your hair go backward as you would like it to go on it's own naturally. By that time, every other day hair washings and once a week use of these products mentioned will keep it in check, and keep it styled to grow and upwards and back. If you choose to continue to get crew cuts, continue the process of using these hair products of your choosing and you'll see it will continue to fall in place, growing upward and back in a clean, natural way. It just has to take a lot of patience and time to continue to aquire what you want your hair to do, and to train it the way you want to train it, the results will in the end please you. Back, many moon ago, they use to sell a product called Trol Hair Trainer, it was a very thick hair oil, that you applied once a week and naturally, you combed or brushed your hair to your desired hair style that you prefer or wanted, and, here if goes again, hair styling gel, as I've seen this as a hair trainer as well to. There was a product called Tussey, which states it was a hair training product, used and advertising it as good grooming for little boys, however, the product worked so well, both Trol Hair Trainer and the Tussey product, that they were ran off the market, making way for the current products such as Brylcream, Vitalis, and Groom & Clean to be used, however they are somewhat weak as opposed to Trol and Tussey, and the object of these products are to keep you coming back to purchase more when you need it again. Wildroot hair cresm is another excellent product, many moon ago, they use to sell a product called Wildroot Formula 405 which was a very thick hair cream, in a white tube with the W in black on the tube, and that stuff also worked exceedingly well, trained your hair perfectly, however, as always, to well and it's no longer made because they want you to come back for more to purchase more of products for profit margine. purposes.

      Gotta let your hair grow out a little bit so you can at least get it to go back and you gotta wear a wave cap and keep doing that, sleeping with it on for like 2 weeks straight. I recommend using clubman hair gel to get it to stay. All the while your hair is growing and you’ll achieve the look. Took me about that long while not being able to cut my hair while quarantined

    • @liveslowlivesimple
      @liveslowlivesimple 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Harrison Truong why not? both are strong hold water based pomades. unless youre saying that admiral is so good that its an insult to even compare it to boulevard nights - in which case i would disagree because i actually prefer boulevard nights

    • @HarrisonTruong

    • @ThePomp
      @ThePomp  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it can potentially clog pores if you're applying an ample amount. If you're on a good routine of cleaning/washing your hair/scalp, it shouldn't be an issue.

    • @crimson1718
      @crimson1718 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Justin That does not exist, water based are supposed to harden and give a natural, matte finish most of the time. If you want something that doesn't dry you want to look into oil based like Murray's (heavy) or Royal Crown (light)
