Hi both, Great looking lamp. I now have an Ortur LM3, as well as my LP 2, so will be trying this sort of thing out. Great video as ever. Take care both. Cheers, Huw
I have been crazy busy lately and I have to get caught up on TH-cam videos and replying to comments. We would love to see what you come up with! Somehow combine turning and laser cutting and I bet you make something incredible!
We did some market research by going to a recent fair to see what foot traffic was like. We located the fair and it was tiny and hidden in a corner! We are going to have to find a different fair to try out! :-)
@@Poor_Mans_DIY near the lamp so beautiful I’m I have a 5 W laser and I’m having a hard time for it to cut out those kind of designs. That’s why I’m upgrading here soon. What kind of laser do you guys have if you don’t mind me asking
Hi, nice project! To make better the join of pieces you need test the material with a "kerf test". When you have a right size of kerf you will not need the glue!
You are absolutely correct. I have a little box I use for trash, which I created without glue. I notice that depending on the weather/temperature, the wood shrinks and grows and there are times where the box comes apart, even though it normally has a tight fit. I figured it did not take too long to use a little glue to be safe. I am too cautious. :-) Thank you for the wonderful suggestion.
We used a dark cord so it is not seen at night when its dark and only the lamp is on. We plan to make similar Desk lamps.
Now that is really cool. Even a low pointing camera didn't hide how it went together. It is definitely a smooth move!!
HAHAHA! I am well known in my house for my smooth moves! :-)
Nice video and build. The lamp looks awesome! : )
Thank you! Cheers!
Very nice 👍
Thank you 👍We appreciate your taking the time to watch and leave a comment.
