What I see out of this video/story is how much you two belong together. The two of you are what "soul-mates" are truly all about........you both seem to complete each other I've always wanted to visit New Orleans, but some show I had watched had warned of how careful one has to be while visiting there?? It can be a very dangerous place in some spots and not safe for tourists such as myself??
Jessica is so beautiful and sweet. You two are adorable together. I just discovered your channel, and I am hooked! I found you because I love Vampira and was searching her on TH-cam and came across you two. You both melt my heart! I love the same things you both love, so I am immediately drawn to all of your videos. Please keep them coming. They make me so happy! You two are bringing a lot of joy to me and I see many others here. Thank you!! :)
I've been to The Mortuary during Halloween season. They run a really kickass Haunted House (went in 2013). History of the house did say it used to be a Mortuary, had a main floor, second story, and basement. Basement was the prep area. You go through all three levels throughout the haunted house.
I did not know there was a Katrina Memorial.. thank you for taking us there! I loved this video. Continue to stay safe on your travels, looking forward to what you do next!
Every time i go to Cafe du Monde and eat beignets, i’m always wearing black for some strange reason and always getting powdered sugar on my clothes but i was born and raised in New Orleans so I’m used to it, oh thanks for the correct pronunciation of our famous sugary treat and the Cafe name..🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Gave me so many flashbacks of New Orleans.. lived there but due to Katrina I relocated and never been back sense. Thanks for ur content. I love this channel.
Ah stomping grounds been watching the videos new here enjoy all so far thanks for representing NOLA so well :) also if i remember right Phil former lead singer of Pantera is the owner of the Mortuary
Way back in 2005 I took a short weekend trip to see Arcade Fire’s Funeral tour at HOB and the next morning I bought Beignets at Cafe DuMonde and then flew home from NOLA to Tampa and they were still warm. My family enjoyed them! Love New Orleans, and enjoy your journey to California! :)
Lately lots of your older videos have been popping up & im loving all of them. 🖤 Im especially loving your trips to New Orleans ✨️. NO is way ip there on my bucket list of places im dying to go.
I grew up in New Orleans my great-grandparents are buried right across the street and my dad is buried in greenwood cemetery at the end of canal Street and you are correct that was a funeral home at one time when I was a kid that side driveway used to be open and they would run us off we'd be riding our bikes up and down all around it. We lived about a mile away down canal Street....
My husband used to be a ghost tour guide in New Orleans! We LOVE the city and only live about an hour away! If y’all haven’t gone to The Dungeon or The Seance Lounge yet, y’all should go next time you’re in the area. They’re both really chill and spooky spots my husband and I hold near and dear to our hearts and I think y’all would love it! I absolutely love y’all’s videos and it’s so cool to see y’all in places I so frequently visit! 🖤
Super jealous!! I’m dying for some beignet! I dunno, the last time I had them, pre-pandemic, I couldn’t see them on my plate because of all the powdered sugar so.....lol
My city ❤⚜️ I work at The Mortuary. It's 150 years old and most graves in the surrounding City of Dead were filled by the undertaker who used to work there. I love it there. Y'all should come through the haunted mansion next Halloween 🎃
I’ll miss you both so much seeing you in universal ... I talked to you on FaceTime with my grand-son-law ... hope to see you for HHN ... I see you made it to my hone town !!! Love me some powered beignets 🧡🖤🧡
I’m excited to see you had visited the Mortuary. I do act here during Halloween time and yes it’s very haunted!! I been here since the year they had opened. 🔥🔥🎃
Thankyou for taking us places we sometimes can never go to a nice break in these trying times take good care of your selves both you Jessica and your obviously loving partner.
LOVE LOVE LOVE NOLA!!! The combination of architecture, food, history, people, music. Is soooo BADASS!!! Too bad crime has taken over the city. It's dangerous to be out now! My wife's family still lives there...Great episode! Love you both Blessed Be! 🕷️🔥🦇🤘 -J.s.
Hi guys 😁 thanks another video , keeping us all sane ! LoL hope your travels are going well 👍 maybe I could plan a road trip across the uk. ?! If I ever finish my Impala
I want to go there Soo bad! Much much history 😃 I love you guys, safe travels to you! Keep us updated... So sad about Katrina I remember crying just watching the news... good job trying to not get the powdered sugar on ya! 😂💜
Those beignets were fun to eat. Thank you both so much for being very respectful with all of your videos but more this one. I took a tour at the Memorial at night time and felt a different energy as we were about to walk the entrance. Did either You or Jessica feel a certain way during your visit? I then felt more emotional and nausea inside. Thank you for sharing looks so much more different in the daytime. We were told not to walk on the grass as that’s where many were laid to rest. Thank you both again. 🙏🏼
When my Uncle and I went there with his neighbors for a Cruise back in 2008 My Uncle and I went to Cafe Du Monde and this was when I've never had the pleasure of experiencing beignets. I loved them of course and saw that they had the mix from Cafe Du Monde for sale at the Airport so I brought a box of it home after the cruise. You just gotta accept that powdered sugar will be a part of your outfit for the day when you eat beignets. P.S. I am one half of a Mike and Jess marriage too. :)
Did you check out Dark Matter Oddities? They house a great collection of macabre items. And the New Orleans Nightmare Haunted House has a vampire-themed valentines haunt called Love Bites!
I was in Louisiana in 2005 my dad was driving a bus to help people escape Katrina It was really scary being my age and running from a hurricane but we managed to make it out safe with a couple of cuts and scratches but my heart did go out to the family’s and other people who didn’t make it 😭
Love the videos you guys do, you seem like such fun people to hang out with! My husband and I were meant to have gone to New Orleans on honeymoon but obviously with Covid we weren’t able to. Hopefully next year! Sending love from the UK! 👻
@@GertTown that sounds similar to alot of places. Maybe if people spent less time listening to the news and more time living their lives we wouldn't have half the problems that we do.
@@thegameisriggednwo1099 news is all a bunch of crap but this corrupt power hungry mayor is doing the typical shut down everything but what her friends own bullshit. She was under investigation for fraud before she even was inaugurated.
The little cauldron is so adorable. Was supposed to visit here in September but Covid decided no. 😩 This video cheered me up so much. 💜 the haunted house looks a little like Disneyland’s HM!
Welcome to my home town, we used to get drunk and see who would choke on all that powdered sugar when they tried to breathe after taking a bite. LOL I really hope y'all got to see the Ye Olde Dungeon while in town.
Hey Jessica, I'm born and raised here in Louisiana and your over load of powered sugar on your beigent we called "Lagniappe" more than you could ever expect. Remember, we live like this is the last day of our life everyday, the Louisiana way!
Hi Michael & Jessica GRIMM 🤣 I ran into a young lady that had Green hair & it reminds me of Jessica GRIMM I told her about your Chanel and Halloween 🎃 Town that you got to build & tear down in a huge building 🏢 for one day it was amazing 🤩
That’s one my dream places to go next! Can’t wait to try the food! I’ve had beignets, but not New Orleans beignets. Gonna stand like Michael to eat one! 🤣🤣🤣
Bonus points to y’all for pronouncing New Orleans right! And when eating beignets, you just gotta accept the powdered sugar and that it’ll be a part of your outfit for the rest of the day...kinda like eating boiled seafood lol.
Jessica kept her coat clean. Michael is worried about it. The two know to have a good time. Where ever they go. My little powder bat. Cute name for Jessica.

Great episode, can’t wait for tonight’s Q and A
I think the only way to successfully eat a beignet is to wear all white so you can't tell where the powdered sugar lands. 😂
My ten Castle Cousins grew up in New Orleans.
