It wasn't just wilder tbf. Tyson Fury went around declaring in many interviews and in his book that Joshua was afraid of Wilder and that Joshua was the one who turned down a deal. And most comments I saw suggested people believed it. Now naturally people online are acting like they knew all along.

One was involved in a unification for a career high payday against aj. One turned down even more money and brought nothing more to the table than the other. One backed himself. One ducked. Simple facts some people need to get their heads around. It's all there.

Did anyone honestly believe Wilder wanted that fight? He had many legitimate offers from Joshua but all rejected while he kept using AJ's name to boost his profile globally. No one knew him outside the states, and he was relatively unknown in his own country considering he was a heavyweight champ.

Fury and AJ are ahead of every other heavyweight, biggest fight to make in boxing. My money would be on Fury, I can see more ways for Fury to win than for AJ, but AJ is the biggest threat in the division for Fury and vice versa.

How amazing for British Sport to have the two best Heavyweights in the world slog it out for the WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF, Ring Magazine and of course the Lineal Title.
