Hello everyone! Yes we know that it is Isle Of MAN and not MEN. TIME magazine however, posted that in their title. Not sure if they were putting a play on words or not, we decided to keep their title for our own reaction.
MatandCh Yeah sure you knew the correct name, but decided to leave in the wrong name in your title because Time magazine did it. How full of it can you get?
Connor really downplays his injuries in this video. 2 10 inch rods held the various shattered and 5 broken vertebrae in his back and his arm had to be completely rebuilt with 2 plates and 16 screws. After all that he STILL went back! These people are next level humans and, love or hate the sport, you can't have anything but the utmost respect and admiration for what they do!
"He acts as a target practice dummy for the military, trying to dodge their bullets on the shooting range. He got hit 30 times in the torso and 12 in the legs, had his heart and lungs transplanted and needed 6 plates with 89 screws to hold his spleen in place. These people are next level humans and, love or hate the sport, you can't have anything but the utmost respect and admiration for what they do!" I... usually don't have admiration or respect for morons, but you do you. I'm not saying sports can't come with risks, but specifically Isle of Man is a ridiculous hill to die on with this argument -- literally.
Connor was born and grew up on the Isle of Man, so not competing would be unthinkable for him. That accident was in 2010, he was racing there in 2011, he missed 2012 due to injuries at a road race just before TT time, 2013 to 2019 he was competing, 2020 & 2021 were cancelled due to covid. 2022 & 2023 he was there, as he will be again this year. The guy who beat him, Michael Dunlop, has won 25 TTs, just one less than his late uncle Joey Dunlop, Joey is considered the greatest TT rider ever Michael has lost his uncle, father & a brother to this sport (TBF, non of them were killed at the TT) The current lap record holder is Peter Hickman, who was the first man to break the 135 mph barrier in 2018, last year he upped it to over 136 mph, you can see a riders eye pov of that lap on TH-cam, if you feel brave enough!
Thanks for your respectful reactions so far. You will obviously be shocked by things you'll see but I can't tell you how cool it is to see a respectful reaction. He opened his own coffee shop up which in Ramsey which he used to also serve in but it closed in 2023. He still has a coffee machine and coffee grinder supplying business called Coffee Mann. His nickname is the 2 metre man as he is over 6 foot, which is very tall for a motorcycle racer and has to have a extra high screen on the bike so he can tuck under it.
Since 1937, only one year (1982) someone didn't die. The average is 2-3 a year. The worst year was 2005 where 11 people died including riders, a marshal, and bystanders
Not 230mph. 200 is sometimes topped but only just. Jimbo hit 206 on a H2R but that was between the races, not in a race. Bruce hit 209mph on a Fireblade capable of 198mph, at the NW200 but that's because he was being pulled along by several riders riding abreast in front of him. Man. Not Men 😂
OH MY FACKIN….. 😳😳😳
I see it's not your fault in this case, but the video you are reacting to. It's the Isle of Man, not Men. The name does not mean "dudes", but comes from the Celtic god "Manannán".
*Isle of man😶🌫️
Stupid auto correct. Not illegal. Ilse
Again. Not ilse. It's. isle
in memory of those who are no longer here but still ride with us😔
Noooo, the video "world's most dangerous motorcycle race" is way better than this one 😕
Did that one!

These are the results from making people stronger. Unlike the situations now. Where they are making people mentally weaker

When you get to that spot you push it and then you know wot you know I have lived and that's why he tells it❤
"Isle of Man", not "men"... just saying
Yep! Thank TIME for the title error as it came straight from their channel.
@@MatandChelsReact i rather thank you for the entertainment😊🤗
What is it with these TH-camrs. Do a little Due Diligence/fact checking before posting your videos. It's The Isle of Man not Men. I thank you.
We know it's "man" and not "men." The source we used was from TIME and that's unfortunately what they had in their own title. Maybe click the original link before blaming the TH-camrs. Just saying.
nascar is for children
I'm from Northern Ireland and wish it was banned so no more people will grieve anymore. It has destroyed families and friends lives.
@GamingForFun-sq6zi yea but the riders themselfs do think they r invincible when they ride at those speeds. If you think your invincible then you dont truly kno the risks then.
Please let me know if you saw the comment where I recommended TT3D, BETWEEN THE HEDGES and a couple of others as it has disappeared. I think it's because I put the name of my account on another platform (beginning with 'I'...it is my name with .tt. in the middle)
lol ypu missed the wheelchair bit at end ??,,,
Hi m & c.check out anything by guy martin.he did well in the tt? But wasn't even a professional biker.grew up helping his dad fix lorrys(trucks in usa😀)but became a national hero because he was so humble, down to earth.been on various tv programs about speed & sheer mentalist!then went into programmes about England's industrial age, trains etc, which might sound boring but not from him & he was only in his 30's
are you aware that he is in a wheelchair? in 5:51 ?
We had no idea!
Plenty of people have died doing shite they didn't want to do.
