Downtown Chicago is empty at night. You can do practically anything you want. My friends and I have driven Jeep’s all over everything. Almost rolled it going down the Field Museum steps on a bad angle.

The ute story is great. My realistic dream car was always a Nissan Skyline as a family vagon conversion or at least a Subaru vagon deal but never got around it in Europe, life fly by fast and by today's standards I got sick of plenty of things and one of which is legal ownership of a vehicle. So I gave up on cars and with that my dram car too ... props to those who make it happen and who manage to get something they actually want and enjoy.
I have a Lada Niva as a hobby car that I ride only on closed roads and offroad events other then that reality have different plans for me to own a legal car that I actually want, that dream is sadly gone.

also, no, the holy grail L-body is the Corsica Hatchback, they only made like 5000 of them. Though, I will give, a manual, and a digital dash is indeed a rare beast in the L-body world. Even back when I was driving a 92 Corsica in the early oughts walking civics who thought v-tec meant something (spoiler: to a properly motivated 3.1l v6, it doesnt 🤣).
