- In this video, you will learn how to calculate adiabatic efficiency for compressor and turbine, how to find out gas discharge temperatures from a compressor also the power production from a turbine. Then we will solve a problem in HYSYS to understand these concepts.

Thank you, Sir, for sharing such insightful information. I would like to know incase it's a liquid stream, how would it be simulated for the case of Turbine? (Liquid turbine)
You want to simulate the underwater turbine for power generation?
Thank you Sir ❤
Most welcome
Very good presentation. But you should also mention that 32 KW of power was required to compress from 1 bar to 10 bar and only 20 KW power was recovered by the Turbine in expanding the same gas from 10 bar to 1 bar. Where did the rest of the 12 KW power go? make the student think..........
Thanks 😊. very nice comment. In future videos, I will add this kind of question
thank you sir for explaining the hysys in very easy way but if you don't mind can you give us some references so we can practice more in hysys.
Actually I was using research papers aa a reference. Just make the list of different chemical processes in which you are interested then simply google it you will find many research articles. Read them and practice. Good luck
