Just want to point out at about 44:24 the ever fearsome Boba Fett had what appeared to almost be cat ears on top of his helmet, and I can't unsee that. Thanks for the demo, as a GS noon, this was wildly helpful for me!
As unorthodox as it may sound I really hope you guys attempt to port this to the PS5 game console for the forthcoming PSVR2. The eye tracking/foveated rendering I would imagine will give you and potential users such a large resource pool in so many ways.
Usually we just notice who is doing interesting work with the tool and see if they would like to be featured. It feels like we only capture a small portion of all the amazing work out there.
Um been on gravity sketch for a week. My artistic side has more rust than a sunk WW2 battle ship. Could u please do the. Star trek enterprise D or E. Im having issues creating a good one.
I honestly think it would be faster to do this particular example with the non VR approach - saying that, I think using Gravity Sketch to flesh out ideas/concepts in VR is much better than the non VR alternative.
Several times throughout the video I see Jaren laying down an edge loop and dragging the whole thing before it is "active" (ie adjusting where he wants to lay it down before it is committed). How do you do that? I don't know if I just don't have the right options enabled or what but whenever I start to add an edge loop, it is laid down and I have to move every control point if I don't like where it is.
Great question. All you need to do is gently squeeze the trigger and you can slide where you want the loop to be. Fully squeeze the trigger when you want to commit the placement.
@@GravitySketchTH-cam You do a great job, but I'd like to see the capabilities of the program and it's intent and then, if it is what I'm looking for, I'm then willing to invest time into understanding the interface and the tool set...that comes with use, mileage and watching videos that cover that part of the software in depth. Thanks however, for your thoughtfulness, as, it was neant as a constructive criticism....

Fantastic work. I couldn’t make it for the live but just watching now
Amazing! Thank you Glen. Glad you are enjoying it!
Can you do a tutorial on each tool and how to use them. Please 🙏
I just ran across your app on the oculus, what should I create something really cool then what? Amazing work by the way
Great work!! Is it possible to enable wireframe on the geometry?
Imagine if Kim Jung GI grew up with this tech.
❤️

The HZD psvr2 bundle is looking as tempting as anything ever right about now...
How does an artist make it on the gravity sketch youtube?

Direct FK for joint rotation on top of the IK already in there would be great!
Hi. What Visor is the best now? And what visor are using you in this video?
Now that the quest 2 has been out for a while, is the orthographic viewport option available outside of the rift?
As of Jan 2022, still no.
It is now
this awsome. how long would it take an artist to complete this on a computer screen (non-VR)?
Depends on the artist no?
Great question, it would depend on the artist and amount of experience but I can definitely say that VR makes it much faster.

can i use gravity sketch with a tablet?
We now have our new iPad app! Go check it out and download for free!
Please please make an enclosure for arduino or raspberryPi + servo motor maybe buttons for 3D printing.
Cool idea for another live sketch potentially. Thanks!
is it the iPad app?
This is in VR.

You might be viewed more-carefully if you turned your shadows *off during a demo
💰
I rlly wanted to like but I couldn't ruin it
I hate these demos because you guys spend the first hour talking about the damn interface..
Good feedback!! Thank you
