Thank you Alex for this video. I am 79 years old with Parkinson's for 7 years. I have really bad tremors and very poor balance and coordination. But I really love this video and I'm going to keep working have it till it becomes easier. Thank you Alex.
I am so emotionally grateful that I found you in the web trying to find a exercice routine for my lifestyle. I am 60 years old, but nobody believes, I always seemed younger.so I was very proud of my appearance, when I lost my husband and had the diagnostic of PD in 2013. The world felt Into my head. Since then I am trying to be strong and trying to escape of stress and forget my sad history, 3 years ago I decided to change my home from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil to Cascais, Portugal just to have a better life quality and try to be happy again. I still didn't find a good routine with exercises and fisiotherapy, but never gave up. So when I saw your Program yesterday for the first time I was so happy and Thrilled that I cried 30 minutes, for all the filling I spend by myself trying to find somebody that could help me. The most incredible and important thing that made me so touched was that I was a ballet dancer in my youth and I love to dance. I could feel you were a ballet dancer since the first video about walking. I need so much your help! How can we get in touch ? Thanks for being there trying to help people with the same problem that is so hard to accept. I will wait for your reply anciously.
I'm seventy-four and female....diagnosed in June '23, but have dealt with leg tremors for four years, mainly in stressful situations. PD progression has caused occasional hand tremors and muscle spasms. Finding PD on the Move has boosted my spirits and I find the exercises easy to do in my daily routine. Our local YMCA has several classes for PD individuals that compliment Alex's routines perfectly! I feel as though I've come across a gold mine in my senior life!
As I search for PD related info for my mom. I accidentally saw your video and seen some of them, this is extremely helpful. Last video posted about 3 years ago, I wonder how are you now? hope you are continue to do well. Hugs and cheers
You are wonderful! One bit of caution: people with low bone density or osteoporosis have to watch out doing twists and bending where they arch the back. Bend at the waist - carefully. Look up Margaret Martin/ Physical Therapist or Michelle Fenway / Physiotherapist
hallo thank you so much for your videos i am just diagnosed with parkinson now i am learning what this dease is. i am 56 years old i guess i am in the honey moon period good with medicines and a long way ahead.
Thanks for your job with useful And helpful! I wonder if you can give a ballet class for Parkinson ballet dancers, or some dance to make us more happy!
I like these but I find them difficult to because I don’t have good balance .i have the flu at moment and I have been afraid of sitting around. I have lost all. My energy and can’t walk very well.
Is it a typo that it says minus 15 Celsius ? Looks like plus 15 Celsius. Anyway, thank you so much for the great exercises. I am doing them everyday as soon as I get up. Thank you, Alexander !
My last comment included many Yoga and Pilate exercises that are not safe for many people. I'm not meaning to be a downer, but i have a compression fracture and they are no fun. Up to 70% of fractures are silent.
