Slingerson's strange loadout of pitches (the 2-seam fastball, vulcanchange, knuckleball, palmball, and knuckle-curve) would become known as "Slinger's Setup" and would be adopted by a small niche of new pitchers, especially those like Slingerson who were short, not very strong, and heavily relied on throwing basically random pitches to screw batters up at the plate.
i had an expansion franchise last year and Charlie Morton threw a perfect game in his 3rd start of our first year. horrible season, but it had some awesome memories
Honestly I only ever walk batters in RTTS if I’m like a couple hours deep and it’s late and I’m real life tired. I think I made it to the MLB with one walk maybe two, one in AA and one in AAA
