Been a couple things out of importers control I suppose but I would like to get something before the end of March. In SA, Dynamic Seal will be $15aud less than the base M3. But I don't have solar panels (yet). So panels and Seal is what I've ordered. Just got to convince the solar installer to that I don't want a Powerwall.
You can always go with a BYD LFP home battery inconjunction with your home solar, I have installed a 11.05 kW BYD home battery system made up of 4 battery modules, so you can go with less or more modules up to almost 22 kW of battery storage and can have 3 towers of 22kW, so 66 kW in total at a price, my inverter can handle that much battery storage, but in my situation, the solar company recommended 11.05 kW system would be enough, inconjunction with my Fronius gen 24 plus inverter and 23 solar panels, I have blackout protection also and haven't taken 1kW from the grid since installing in mid October, my house runs 24/7 on renewable energy from the sun/battery storage at night. I live in SA too and have a BYD Seal performance model in Shark Grey and the Ocean Blue Interior on order. It should arrive in March sometime. I ordered on the 21st of December as I wanted a 2024 manufactured vehicle, not a 2023, I had that written in on my order via a phone call to BYD. I currently own an extended range BYD Atto 3.
@@AmazingEV Even before you ordering an ev we only use about 4-5 kWh a day so a Powerwall is OTT. Also want the option of using V2L capabilities. Looking at modular batteries as I have a very limited budget. Almost can't afford Seal let alone upgrade to Premium (that I think is the value pick).
There is a good chance the BYD seagull will arrive or go on sale towards the end of 2024. It's a toss-up whether it will be the BYD seagull or the BYD Yuan Up compact SUV, which is slightly bigger than the BYD Dolphin and slightly smaller than the BYD Atto 3.
I'm contacting you through your TH-cam channel because I watched your video, which has excellent content and an eye-catching thumbnail. However, even though your video quality is good, not many people are watching it or leaving likes or comments. This is because the first issue is that the conversion of your video isn't quite right; to fix this, you should first fix the social area or video key. If we properly update our QR section area, you will need to select an SEO-related title, write an engaging description that is relevant to your industry, and conduct targeted keyword research based on your niche to rank your video.
Thank you, your advice and insight are much appreciated. Please contact me on rosco@AmazingEV.com.au to provide me with further advice, for a fee of course!

Thanks @kasmstamps1897 - if you go the Powerwall, you'll be completely self sufficient - why not?
@Amazing Ev, He doesn't want a Tesla powerwall.
Plenty of other choices@@Peter-vn8ue

Looking forward to seeing the BYD Seagull on the Australian website. Upper priced cars are a dime a dozen.

Not sure it that one is coming to Australia ? A Hybrid Ute is under evaluation and maybe the SUV version of the SEAL.
@AmazingEV those 2 are definitely coming here but there is a third model going on sale in 2024 as well.

Not at the moment Peter, recommend anyone local to you? We are in Sydney, I need one here!
I hope you have a permanent car washer person, black vehicles show all the dirt and dust on the paint work.
