You boys are pro's when it comes to Adventure.... making the best of it, what Ma Nature gave you. I've been to Sturgis 2 years in a row, now, pre bike rally in July. 2022 was sunny, 2023 was terribly smoky and rainy, every single afternoon and night. I'd say that Matt, give it a shot in 2024 or 2025, and hope you do all those beautiful rides in sunshine, and smoke free. There's just something about the water, the blue skies, the lush green forests, the lakes, and bright middle of summer sunshine, and the polished concrete roads that lace all throughout the Black Hills, that makes the place motorcycle riding Nirvana, on those roads. Get there pre rally, slow down a bit, unwind, and Deadwood /Sturgis takes on a whole new super vibe when it's less crowded. Matt, you have a very unique, one of a kind editing and shooting style as a videographer and story teller. I just don't know how you do it, but it's wonderful to watch, and I look forward to it.
A motorcyclists nirvana - perfect description. Yes, I’d like to come back again during the rally and try it without the rally. I think you described it perfectly. As you're aware at the time of publishing this, you all missed the sunshine that followed the rainy start to this years rally. Bummer...lol! Glad you enjoyed it tho. Great series, Matt. I rode down on that Friday and camped at the Chip for 3 cold and rainy days. Still had a great time riding (and partying) I might have to head down early next year to ride all the roads before the crowd shows up.

Sometimes we use gear sometimes we don't. Watch the other 5 videos, we got mostly sunshine the whole trip.

Great series, Matt. I rode down on that Friday and camped at the Chip for 3 cold and rainy days. Still had a great time riding (and partying) I might have to head down early next year to ride all the roads before the crowd shows up.
Your videos always make me want to get out and ride. Well done. I also can't agree more about the goodness of iron mountain road.
