A good friend of mine has one of these. Actually identical with the same colour as all that. Went with him up to York on the motorway once, and I mean once! Never a bloody again!!!! Passed everything and anything on the sodding motorway!!!!
Not just the acceleration but also the braking and cornering is amazing courtesy of extremely low weight., I can remember driving back home on the A47 in Norfolk following some race watching at Snetterton and watching an Aston Martin Volante convertible trying to catch me up and outbrake me when coming up to one of the many roundabouts on that dual carriageway, with me on the inside lane in my Seven, it was an older guy with a very good looking lady passenger, only she was screaming next as the Aston drove straight on and over the roundabout with all wheels locked because the driver mistakenly thought he could outbrake a 500kg Caterham.
I had a V8 Vantage previously. Very underwhelming car to drive! Not that fast, crappy brakes and so heavily it wallowed all over the place! Lovely car to do big miles in style but certainly no sports car.
What sort of driving? Road or track? If it’s primarily road, the 420 is ideal. The 620 is almost too quick, especially when it’s damp! If it’s track the 420 is perfectly adequate but the 620 is insane and you’ll run rings around everything. If you do go for a 620, factor in a remap, cooling mod etc. to make it much more drivable. There’s a FB group specifically for the 620 which is a wealth of information. Either way, let us all know what you get!!
We cannot wait to see it on a sunny day at full chat! You will have to let us know what Track Days you have coming up, would be great to see yours as well!
I did Snetterton again in it yesterday. Out of interest what tyres do you run in damp/greasy conditions? Did you make set up changes for wet running? I was running ZZS’s but was disappointed with them until the track dried out a bit.
@@NaturallyAspirated I am only doing testing now in my 420 ahead of starting racing in March. However, as my 620r is still not sold yet, I am very tempted to bring it out for another play on a track day 😈🏎🚀 I will let you know in advance if I do.
@@lindo1234567890 I used to run ZZR Extremes in the dry and ZZS in wet. The first 6 months of 2023 when I was still driving the 620 I was using Avon slicks, intermediates and full wets, which is what they use in the 420 UK Champs. My car is aggressively set up by DPR for the wets and the slicks. I might bring it out for another track day if it doesn't sell soon, so will let you know and see if you can come along 🤙🏻🏎
Let us know below who had the BEST, WORST facial expression!
Some extraordinary faces in this video!
Came to see the car, got 8 min. of face time.
That 620R is an absolute weapon!
Great car! Love the sound of a sequential

One of the scariest experiences of our lives! It is an animal... Glad you got the same experience haha!

0-shitting yourself in 1.5 seconds 😂
Could not be more correct haha!
It’s as if my forehead got bigger and bigger as the drive went on!
Currently deciding between a 420s and 620s. Really not sure what the best option is. It’ll do quite a few miles.
Depends if you want manic or super manic! haha

Just you wait until we do a trackday. It’s even faster!!!

A caterham without a windscreen does wonders to the hair line 😅
I think you mean removing any traces of a hairline.

Going to have to change the name of your channel.
We probably should have changed it a while ago!
Definitely not “naturally aspirated”
You are absolutely correct.
